Monday morning feel good stories

| April 25, 2016

An ex-boyfriend in Richland County, South Carolina thought that he could win back the love of his life by climbing in her home through a window. According to the article, an acquaintance of the lady dissuaded Romeo with a little gunfire that sent him to the hospital. There’s no word on his condition currently.

Mark Headstrong, a convenience store clerk in Wilmington, North Carolina was threatened by a woman thief with a crowbar, he responded by slapping her across her face with the broadside of his machete that he keeps under the counter. Then he pinned the woman to the floor until the police arrived. He says that he’s been robbed several times in the past few years at the various convenience stores where he’s worked. Headstrong takes the robbery attempts personally – “”Our (military) personnel overseas sacrifice their lives fighting for our freedom, but some people inside the country try to ruin our principle of capitalism,” said Headstrong.”

At a VFW in Halifax, Virginia, a local sheriff’s deputy answered a parking complaint, but upon his arrival, he saw a man shooting randomly into a crowd. The deputy ordered the man to disarm and when he didn’t, the deputy shot him. The shooter is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. Five people who were among his targets were injured, at least two are serious injuries.

On Saturday, we wrote about a criminal who got his ass beat and shot by two roommates in St Louis, Missouri. At the time, he hadn’t been caught, but Chief Tango sends us the news that he’s been arrested and treated at the hospital, so we can all rest easy.

Mr. Headstrong (in North Carolina) seems to be firmly grounded. And he’s just one of many who do the right thing.

Is that his real name. Epic!

I’ve heard of not bringing a knife to a gunfight, but how do you classify a crowbar and machete fight?

Good going, Mr Headstrong. It took a lot of self control to NOT turn that machete edgeways.

I would have paid good PPV money to see the look on the woman’s face when you slapped her upside the head with the machete.

Gang banging at the VFW. Must be rough over in Halifax.
