Police in Nashville, Tennessee are searching for a car that has been struck by shotgun fire. A homeowner caught someone stealing his lawn implements and fired his shot gun at them. Apparently, he missed the people, but marked the car for police who have put out a call to the public for help.
Burglars in Henrico County, Virginia forced their way into a home and engaged the homeowner with gunfire. He responded in kind and sent the thieves a-running. The homeowner was able to give police a description of the vehicle they used to escape. The criminals are still in the wind.
In Kansas City, Missouri, a man was accosted by a knife-wielding thief who forced him into his apartment. the victim shouted for his roommate to bring a gun. An altercation broke out but ended when the roommate shot the thief who beat his feet on the pavement. Police haven’t found him yet so his condition is unknown.
Another passerby with a concealed weapons permit in Montgomery County, Texas, thinks that shoplifting is a capital offense. He busted caps at three shoplifters loading their ill-gotten booty into a stolen vehicle – there were no injuries and the thieves are still on the run.
RedTag sends us a link to a story from Phoenix, Arizona where 25-year-old Jacob Tyler Spradlin tried to coerce a father with two kids to give him a ride with his friends at gunpoint. The father pulled out his own gun and dissuaded Spradlin who left peacefully. Police picked him up in another nearby parking lot after the father called them.
