Saturday morning feel good stories
First up this morning, a homeowner in Gallia County, Ohio, Charles Day, heard someone knocking at his door. Before Day could answer the knock, an intruder busted through the door. Day promptly shot him in the knee and ordered him from the house. The 31-year-old intruder was an acquaintance of the family, so Mister Day let him limp home instead of finishing him off.
In Houston, Texas, a Family Dollar store clerk who was also the manager shot a robber in his store yesterday. The thief was DRT (dead right there) when the police arrived. He says that he started carrying a gun when the store was robbed last Thanksgiving.
