According to the Associated Press, fourteen members of the security force guarding nukes at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming are being investigated for illegal drug activity.

[General Robin Rand, the commander of Air Force Global Strike Command], speaking by telephone from his headquarters at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, said the 14 airmen under investigation range in rank from Airman 1st Class to Senior Airman and are members of the security group at F.E. Warren that is responsible for securing the missile fields and convoys that move nuclear weapons.

Rand said the 14 are accused of off-duty drug “activity,” which he refused to further define. He said the allegations were “credible.”

None of the folks involved were officers in charge of the readiness of the 450 Minuteman 3 nuclear missiles, but they were part of the security force. Privates will always do private shit no matter how much money they make, I guess.

Glaucoma prevention maybe?

Standards, we don’t need no standards.

2/17 Air Cav

About the patch. What is that animal that is poised to take that dildo up his ass? Given the relative sizes of the two, it looks like that’s gonna hurt some.

Sparks

My thoughts exactly 2/27 Air Cav. Da hell is that thing? When I was in the 308TH Missile Wing, we had a wing patch but wore the SAC Fist of Death from above.

Claw

My best guess it’s some sort of a cross bred mutant T-Rex/Pterodactyl with wings.

Isnala

It’s a pterodactly (although a fuggly one) in hommage to the 90th Strategic Recon Wing and 90th ‘Strategic Bombardment Wing, Medium’, from which the current 90th traces it’s heritage.

IT’S A PHILDO!!!

Security guards? Really? Unlike civilians, these airmen will answer for any criminal charges under the UCMJ and could also face civilian criminal charges, depending.

Let’s hope it is quickly.

Looks like these dumbasses took the USAF slogan a wee bit too far:

‘AIM HIGH’

Instinct

But did the snozberries taste like snozberries

Why, oh why, must all the news about my former line of work (Security Forces) be bad. First, I read about Felder, the SP who thought he was SF, then this. Dafuq?

CATM

I know right? I also remember reading about some of the CATM clowns at Creech selling weapon’s parts and ammo, then about a year after I retired I was told that eight members of my old squadron were busted for running drugs out of the cop shop. Makes me glad I retired when I did, these guys are all just making us look bad and really making life hell for those that remain.

Aysel

what the hell happened to “Just Say No”?

C2Show

I dont know if its a SFS thing or what. When I was stationed at Volkel AB, we had a squadron drug test and they popped 4 Security forces guys for cocaine or weed. Two Command Post folks got busted for doing Cocaine, they even admitted to smoking weed while on duty.

I remember when I had to go to Kleine Brogel to be a piss watcher. They popped 6 security forces for drugs.

streetsweeper

Well hell, they are not the first or only branch security forces to be busted. Doubtful they will be the last.

LiRight

Burn them, bury them and send them on their way.

Although, they’d probably qualify for the protection detail for POTUS!

CATM

Unlikely, there is no hooker charge on the list of charges. I also agree to burn them, they should be held to a higher standard as they are the ones trusted to enforce it.

Silentium Est Aureum

I guess being in Cheyenne, the smoke from the hippie lettuce burning just over the CO border proved to be just too great a temptation.
