James Joseph; Pennsylvania Adjutant General resigns
Philly.com reports that the Pennsylvania Adjutant General, James Joseph has resigned his position. He has been on paid administrative leave since early this year when a couple of legislators got a tip about his bad behavior since taking the helm of the National Guard early last year;
In announcing Joseph’s resignation Friday, the governor also did not say why the adjutant general had stepped down.
[…]
WITF, the public radio station in Harrisburg, first reported on the anonymous letter last month, saying it alleged sexual harassment.
[PA Governor] Wolf spokesman Jeff Sheridan would not comment on the letter or even confirm its existence.

General-ly bad behavior, perhaps?
In announcing Joseph’s resignation Friday, the governor also said the adjutant general had refused to, after several orders, to shave off the horrible ‘Hitler styled” mustache’.
What In The Fook? radio….
Sometimes these things write themselves!
Nothing about that mustache says “creep” at all.
Turd.
No surprise, though.
Remember Walsh?
“Fired”? Where does it say that?
Vietnam Service Medal? Wouldn’t be have to be at least 60? About time for him to retire in any event.
I once saw a NG Corporal many years ago when I was a young NCO that had to be at least 55. He was sitting in the chow hall with a handful of NG MSGs and SGMs. Dude was older than them for sure.
I mean, how do you address him? Sir?
Odd one.
There used to be a ton of them… until the deployments started 🙂 . I actually saw a SPC retire when I first transferred to the Guard. I mean what’s the point – as a non prior service E4 you’re gonna make what about 100 bucks a month in pension?
Correct – except for Frequent Wind, it was last awarded in 1973. And the RVN VSM he’s also wearing implies service in-country prior to the end of the VSM period in 1973.
But I’m pretty sure serving at that age is allowable for MGs in the ARNG – for some reason, I’m remembering 62 as the age limit. And that limit may be waivable to allow service at higher age for state AGs and/or other ARNG GOs.
Here’s his detailed bio and, yes, he just did get to VN as an MP:

He is a retired police chief, too. I checked that out. He was with the Hazelton, PA police. The Hazelton pop was 21,000+ in 2015.
Top brass setting the standards for the rest of us once again.
“Do as I say, not as I do.”
There is a PowerPoint lesson in there somewhere. Be sure to sign the attendance sheet, otherwise you will have to take it again next month.
Splash out.
As a radio commo guy, I just LOVE the NPR radio station call sign, W(i)TF. hehehe. The irony is thick with this one.
So an anonymous letter alleging something is all it takes to destroy someones career? My letter to my Senators about Obama is in the mail Monday
Nobody wears a mustache anymore.
Geesh.
Dude should have handlebars on his.
Imagine that! Another flag officer.
And all us regular Soldiers will have to sit more and more and more SHARP training when it’s O-6s and above that can’t keep it in their pants.
Yeah but he was also let go a a police officer because he was using the police cruiser to go to drill. Then tried to justify it because of police training at the Gap. Nothing was ever mentioned about that. It was kept under wraps.
