Friday morning feel good stories

| February 12, 2016

First up this morning happened in Peoria, Arizona, where two thieves rang a doorbell before they broke a window to get into a house. The homeowner took his firearm to investigate and found a man halfway into his hom, so he let loose a round and shot the intruder in his leg. Mr Intruder reappeared a short time later at a convenience store and he was transported to a hospital until the police can get his room made up for the longer term. The other fellow is still on the loose.

In Bloomington, Indiana, Kyle Kaericher was awakened by his burglar alarm so he took his flashlight and his gun for a walk and discovered a burglar in his garage. He held the fellow and politely introduced him to the responding police officers and to the thief’s future.

Armed Homeowners protecting their lives and goods makes for good reading over the morning coffee.

Indeed sir!

What?! No “D”s (DRT/DOT) today? How rude.
Well, I guess you can’t expect a HR everyday.

One thing that would make our morning coffee even sweeter would be to read a byline that says:

“After the wife tackled the intruder in the kitchen, she commenced to whumping him upside the head with a frying pan.” (See attached mug shot)

Skillet Karma is such a good coffee additive.

Exactly. What have I been saying? The home defense system is right there in the kitchen. When all else fails, a cast iron skillet works just fine.

B Woodman

Just make sure it’s a cast iron fry pan or skillet. Gives a more satisfying “gong” to the head. Aluminum dents too easily.

Today’s armed citizen “batting line”: 2 for 3 with an extra-base hit, plus zero successful crimes and no non-perps injured. Nice.
