Jury convicts Fort Dix 5 [Jonn]

| December 22, 2008

Not like we wanted them convicted, but convicted nonetheless;

I’m not sure why the jury didn’t hit them with the attempted murder charge, probably because the terrorists were bumbling morons.

UPDATED: Apparently the defense convinced the jury that the 5 were egged on by the informants;

Defense lawyers argued that the alleged plot was all talk — that the men weren’t seriously planning anything and that they were manipulated and goaded by two paid FBI informants.

Faten Shnewer, the mother of defendant Mohamad Shnewer, said the informants should be the ones in jail. “Not my son and his friends. It’s not right, it’s not justice,” she said after the verdict. The government “sent somebody to push him to say something; that’s it.”

You can’t cheat an honest man and you can’t force some one into a suicide mission.

“I don’t think they actually mean to do anything,” said Mohamed Younes, president of the American Muslim Union. “I think they were acting stupid, like they thought the whole thing was a joke.”

Jim Sues, executive director of the New Jersey chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said: “Many people in the Muslim community will see this as a case of entrapment. From what I saw, there was a significant role played by the government informant.”

Yuh-uh.

remembers the guy that started the investigation.

Orange jumpsuits for everybody.

Add this to the conviction of one of the Goose Creek Two for supplying material aid to terrorists, I’m confident that convictions of VFP, VVAW and IVAW traitors is within reach.

Let’s make it happen.

lucky

Raoul, That would be a giant leap forward in justice if those rejects would actually be prosecuted for their treasonous ways

USMCdaughter1

I hope it’s a long miserable sentence for all of them.

AW1 Tim

Yes, I am looking forward to their getting to know their new Aryan Brotherhood neighbors. 🙂

These idiots are about to find out what it means to be one of the 72 virgins.

Notice the comments from their fellow Muslims. This is the illness that runs through that culture. There is no responsibility, there is only “injustice.” So, if I’m sitting at a red light and 2 people are telling me to run the light, and I do, who gets the ticket?

UpNorth

Martino, no one gets the ticket. Especially not you, the driver. You were “pushed to do something” and it ain’t right. As to the 5 and their families, be glad it’s American justice and not sharia law.

YIPPIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This masde my day 😀

I deployed from Fort Dix in 2003 and redeployed there in 2004 before returning to civilian life. If those ragheads had been allowed to carry out there assassinations while I was there, IT COULD HAVE BEEN ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May those gutless ragheaded terrorists have miserable lives as they rot in jail for the rest of their natural lives!!

lucky

They are going to make very nice prison brides for some very lucky prisoners 😀

yankeemom

Made my day, too. And I’m glad they were not successful, Paul!!

I like that thought, Lucky.

lucky

I do too, and their fellow prisoners should use pig lard for lube

Why is that the MSM can’t seem to connect the dots regarding CAIR? Those guys are working in the same capacity as Sinn Feinn did for the IRA. They are simply a front for the terrorists and their enablers, set up to filter funds and run point for them. It’s no different than a company run by the mob. It looks legit from the outside, but it’s corrupt and evil within.

Thomas Paine

you must realize this was never a real threat to anyone in america. This is a perfect example of a bush administration pushed story line to make the public beieve we are under some terrorist threat, that doesnt exist.
People say that you’ll die faster than without water. But we know it’s just a lie, scare your son, scare your daughter.

Ray

A 250 lb lifer cellmate should make prayer time a bit more exciting for them. LOL

I believe in using necessary methods, including the unorthodox, to get information. The only thing I’m curious about , besides the illegal entry, is the criminal records of the informants. I’d be interested in finding out what kind of crimes they committed, their countries of origin, and how they got in.

Aside from that, it’s obvious the six little jihadists had bloodshed in mind and would have most certainly harmed military personnel, on or off the base, had they put their plan into action. They didn’t need prodding from informants, they were already training for an assault.

Let’s hope they get lots of prison time…..in Leavenworth.

UpNorth

As for #12, don’t feed the troll.
