Monday morning feel good stories

| September 28, 2015

This morning we start in Noblesville, Indiana, Peyton K. Tonning was found by a homeowner sitting in the homeowner’s car. Peyton threatened the homeowner with a gun and then un-assed the AO with the homeowner in hot pursuit. An altercation ensued and the homeowner disarmed young Tonning and proceeded to miss him with every shot. That’s why you should always have your own gun with you. Tonning is cooling his heels in the local hoosegow.

In Houston, Texas, a fellow witnessed two guys mug another guy in a parking lot and interceded in his beating with a handgun. The two carjackers sped away in their ill-gotten booty, but only got a few blocks before abandoning the car. Police are looking for the two, one of whom left some blood behind as DNA evidence.

In Wichita, Kansas, a 16-year-old is in serious condition after he was shot by a mean old homeowner who ventilated him when the youngster broke into a home. His three pals are in the wind.

The problem with carjackers is that they only want to drive a few blocks because they just don’t want to walk.

Note to drivers: get some pepper spray. It might help in something like this.

Wasp & Hornet spray is supposed to work well, too 🙂

A dry chemical fire extinguisher works well. The powder they use in them these days is VERY irritating to the eyes, sinuses, and windpipe. It’s not just baking soda anymore in many cases, here’s one MSDS on the stuff:

My point is that one good burst of the stuff can easily put up to six or seven punks on their knees coughing their guts up, and yes, wasp spray works well too!

The Indiana guy was just lucky. If you get the bad guy with a gun on the run, consider it a win and let him go.

What? No “Ds” (DRT/DOT)?
Ah, well, it’s only Monday.

Why shoot a bad guy with his gun? Use your own, that you have at the ready and have invested much ammo and range time to be very friendly with it. People have the money for smokes, alcohol, iPads, etc. but claim they can’t afford life saving things like guns, ammo, range time? Priorities people, priorities.

The first story sounds like a case of Buck Fever.

Note to the 19 year old Peyton. If you are so lame and lazy that an aging homeowner is able to chase your ass down within two blocks, it’s time to find another occupation after your stint with Bubba, Thor and Julio.

CLAW!#!, Made me laugh brother. Buck fever, yep. “Hey Fred what did you get today? A 4 or a 6 pointer?” “I don’t know but I’m pretty sure I got 2 other hunters before I shot all my ammo.”

Sparks

Sorry, I meant CLAW131 not CLAW!#!

Indiana story reminds me of my pops rules of a weapon.
1. Find a gun, check the barrel for bullets and unload.
2. Check the muzzle from the barrel not the muzzle to see if it’s clear.
3. Bring it home unloaded and hand it over by the grip.
4. If we’re not home, lock it up until we get home. Then we call the cop shop.
Why are you telling me this? We put waded up paper into the muzzle of a gun, a idiot left in the car. We followed him and when he was going to shoot a citizen, it blew up in his hand, face and he was DRT, by his own hand.
Look at it this way MUIS. If you forgot your gun at a shooting range and get it that’s what you do. Anyone can sabotage your weapon and I’ll be damned if you get your ass killed by a asshole. I passed the rules to my kids and they even check their weapon, fresh out of the safe.
I would never use another person’s gun to shoot him as he runs. Rather let him get away while remembering info for the Johnny or Johnette to find him. I would never pick up a gun without having something on my hand, to preserve fingerprints and we all know it was probably stolen.
