SGT Atting Eminue murdered while helping the homeless
From Atlanta, Georgia comes the sad story of 3-time Afghanistan veteran and Nigerian immigrant active duty Sergeant Atting Eminue who was murdered in downtown Atlanta while he was helping to give shoes to homeless people there;
Atlanta Police say Eminue was walking with a friend to his car early Sunday morning and was shot near the Peachtree Pine homeless shelter during an altercation.
His family says someone confronted him while he tried to give away shoes to the homeless and he was shot multiple times.
“He had shoes and stuff that he was giving because he always does that,” said Gbaka.

Special place in hell for the perps.
Guy survives three tours in the ‘Stan only to be shot down here over fucking shoes.
Sounds like we need to civilized our own streets first.
First and foremost Rest in Peace Sergeant Eminue and God be with your family now. Thank you for giving so much and giving your all.
Next, start in Atlanta for instance. Then perhaps on any street named in any fashion, Peachtree. Go from one end to the other cleaning out the walking dead. Those who live on the blood, sweat and tears of the living and working honest and who then take whenever it suits their need and more often, just their state of boredom or humor. Screw them all and especially those who murdered SGT Eminue, a good man and soldier. A man helping those in need from his heart and with his own memories of Nigeria, often with no shoes, These murderers deserve to walk the sharp stoned and gnarly paths of hell barefoot, with whips on their backs for all eternity.
Rest in peace Sgt Eminue.
May the dirtbag(s) who committed this crime ROT in HELL!
I’m thinking that we need some forced gentrification of those areas.
Hell no! Perhaps if you want to move to the ghetto to go help the scum, go ahead and waste your life. However it is not the job or responsibility to refurbish the cities that we built that we let you know who destroy over the past 50 years. It is not our job to save the scum from themselves.
I am sorry this Soldier died but he was in the fucking ghetto and ghetto shit happens in the ghetto. That is why Wise people avoid the Ghetto.
However if you want to move to some ghetto and be hated for gentrifying it then please be my guest. I do my best from avoiding those who come from the ghetto, and they are pretty easy to spot with the tans and all.
Maybe I am sounding racist but my race is not burning cities down, shooting cops, or violently attacking members of other races.
Well this sucks on just about every level I can think of….I hope these rat bastard perps get popped while resisting arrest.
Rest In Peace Sergeant…
No, that would be another police “murder” and spark “protests” in which aggrieved citizens loot pharmacies of drugs and toilet paper, burn businesses, and, later, hold signs reading, “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot.”
Atting Eminue was killed doing good for others. In my book, if nothing else qualified him for Heaven, that alone would.
Once again, it’s proven that only some black lives matter.
I just had a very interesting 2.5 hour conversation with a Dallas police officer. Wow, what a range of subjects we covered. Reading somewhat between the lines, DPD officers have adjusted their risk exposure due to the current threat environment. The appearance of a downward spiral portends a probable outcome. Not good.
Rest Well..
The sooner the perps that killed him get their just reward for what they did (a dirt nap and the place in hell reserved for them), the better.
Sad. RIP, SGT Eminue.
Unfortunately that’s only a few blocks from where I used to live. I’ve seen some “interesting” things happen on the corner of Peachtree & Pine.
RIP to a good man, such a waste.
I’m so not surprised that it happened in Atlanta. Of all the places I’ve been on business trips, it’s the only one I didn’t add to my travel bucket list for a personal visit. On the several occasions when I was there, once you crossed the street from the CNN Center, it was a no man’s land. Barbed wire surrounding half-demolished buildings, trash everywhere, and huge gangs of people loitering on almost every street corner during the business day.
Where are the nationwide protests? #goodlivesmatter
The Sgt did his duty-and the some. We have to stay strong and make sure all hands realize we’re in the fight of civilization versus raw paganism. These bastards must be eliminated.
SGT was doing God’s work when killed by a demon.
True, the devil sends his minions to destroy good wherever it goes.
Evil never dies.
RIP SGT Eminue and may god watch over your family.
Watch it, everyone! Dave might show up and start lecturing everyone about how terrible religion is.
I have nothing good to say about the perps, of course.
But in my family, it’s considered a good thing to die while doing a good deed. The Lord can take you at any time, and in any circumstance. But if you’re going to face judgment, it’s nice to get caught while being good.
My condolences to the family.
BTW, happy 70th Anniversary of VJ day everyone.
Here’s hoping that the perps who did this are caught quickly.
Rest in Peace, Sgt
Tragic how the truly primitive attack their own when found to be doing something God would smile on. R I P our brother in arms. CCP’s are the only way to leave your home these days. The day is not far away when one of us is going to be mentioned as having been in the line of fire as a civilian. Hopefully, one who was prepared and vigilant; still alive to spread the lead.
Our local first responders have done a great job cleaning up our streets, but more come in from other areas.
We also pass out things to homeless people, but we’re licensed to carry. The veteran who carried my granddaughter home two miles, after our ride did a boner after a medical procedure and then went back to fix my ride comes with when we donate. Damn hard headed Marine finally moved in with us. We converted half of the three car garage into his own pad, with his own entrance.
We’re not involving him in Bernath bullshit, since him and the kid are really close. (Yes, I checked him via his license and social). Dakota is a awesome warrior who we all love. He’ll tell his story when ready..
It often seems no good deed goes unpunished. Sadness. This nation’s moral compass is stuck in the off position. Sadness, sadness. RIP Brother.
I hope those pieces of shit get stomped to death with the shoes they stole.
