D-Day Weekend Open Thread

OIF ’06-’07-’08 reminds us that tomorrow is the 71st anniversary of the invasion of Hitler’s Fortress Europe. Some notable historical figures have things that they want to add to the discussion this weekend;
George Patton on June 5th; “We want to get the hell over there. The quicker we clean up this Goddamned mess, the quicker we can take a little jaunt against the purple pissing Japs and clean out their nest, too.
Dwight Eisenhower said; You will bring about the destruction of the German war machine, the elimination of Nazi tyranny over the oppressed peoples of Europe, and security for ourselves in a free world.
Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped, and battle-hardened. He will fight savagely….The free men of the world are marching together to victory. I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty, and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full victory. Good luck, and let us all beseech the blessings of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.”
From Stephen Ambrose’ Band of Brothers; Lieutenant Welsh remembered walking around among the sleeping men, and thinking to himself that ‘they had looked at and smelled death all around them all day but never even dreamed of applying the term to themselves. They hadn’t come here to fear. They hadn’t come to die. They had come to win.
In 1984, Ronald Reagan said; These are the boys of Pointe du Hoc. These are the men who took the cliffs. These are the champions who helped free a continent. These are the heroes who helped end a war.
In 1994, Bill Clinton said; We are the children of your sacrifice. We are the sons and daughters you saved from tyranny’s reach. We grew up behind the shield of the strong alliances you forged in blood upon these beaches, on the shores of the Pacific, and in the skies above.
In 2004, George W Bush said; Generations to come will know what happened here, but these men heard the guns. Visitors will always pay respects at this cemetery, but these veterans come looking for a name and remembering faces and voices from a lifetime ago. Today we honor all the veterans of Normandy and all their comrades who never left.
In 2009, Barack Obama said; It is a story that has never come easy, but one that always gives us hope, For as we face down the hardships and struggles of our time, and arrive at that hour for which we were born, we cannot help but draw strength from those moments in history when the best among us were somehow able to swallow their fears and secure a beachhead on an unforgiving shore.
And, MCPO sends his own graphic for the weekend;

MCPO is a subtle gent
I can deal with that kind of subtlety.
It’s how REAL Chiefs get shit done.
So, does that make The Master Chief petty Officer a “lawyer” or a “lawer”?
(ducks and runs for cover)
I’m just curious what’s going on. Is a certain non-CPO getting his catheter raked over the coals?
He is doing it all by himself.
I have NOTHING to with it!
Hehehehehe!
He’s like an aircraft dispensing chaff to decoy an incoming missile. He’s throwing out motions to get things dismissed/delayed. End result will still be the same. He’ll get one up the ol’ tailpipe. Plug his name in the search box
I see he has a different woman judge for his 6/9 conference.
Just as a lark, I plugged in Peckham’s name (he’s also on Madame Judge’s calendar) just to compare documents.
http://apps.statebarcourt.ca.gov/dockets/dockets.aspx
Apparently Peckham is not trying hard enough! (^__^)
If I could tell you the backstory on some of that, you’d be rolling on the floor. He really is a complete moron and you have no idea….
Hopefully, after all is said and done, you and MCPO will allow us to read the manuscript before you publish it.
I have a feeling all of the linked documents and videos for the post-trial celebratory blog post will keep me entertained for the rest of the year.

Like with the docket search, put his name in the search box to see his upcoming court dates.
I bet Arthur Ashe is rolling over in his grave knowing that freak Bruce (Caitlyn) Jenner is getting the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
Ashe was a legend in many different venues: sports, advocacy and equality. Jenner just wants to lose his testicles.
Anyway, on another note, Phildo (the False Commander Phil Monkress and CEO of All-Points Logistics)takes it in the ass.
I just want him/her to go away. Want to radically change your life and throw your family into further disarray? Go for it. But do it in private. Take the attention whoring step daughters and ex wife and just go away. Don’t go away mad, just go away…
Just wait until he/she/it starts dating.
I can see a reality show in the future.
The reality show is already coming to a tv near you in the very near future. His/her older kids want nothing to do with the show, either.
If you think about it, every one of the high profile trans have done everything possible to make sure they will never have the very life they seek. Jenner, for example. Full color glossy on Vanity cover, with new name. Now, instead of walking into a business and having an associate look at him and think, “That’s an attractive lady,” they’re going to think, “Hey, there’s that trans Bruce Jenner. I wonder if he’s had ’em cut off yet?” Not exactly a fresh start, if you know what I mean.
Not that I follow celebrities, but my instincts tell me it will be a matter of time before Bruce goes the way of Anna Nicole Smith. It’s like watching a train wreck about to happen.
They still do that surgery in Sweden, don’t they?
Um, fyi it’s SWEADEN!
Hell, now they do it in Trinidad, Co.
I’ve heard they do a lot of “snip & tucks” in Thailand as well.
Hell I’d throw on a wig and a dress and change my name to “Just An Old Bitch” if they paid me what they are paying Jenner.
I draw the line at sucking a dick though.
Remember, suck just one and …
One thing about this whole Jenner thing. First of all, all the photoshop in the entire internet universe will not change 3 facts about Brucie Boi, 1: man hands, 2: man feet and of course, 3: a dick between his legs and will never have a snatch.
Poor guy, he spent his entire life hating himself and looking for outward signs to make up for his own feeling of personal failure, whatever they may be.
He deserves our sympathy and our prayers. He has alienated his entire family, many millions of America and will go down in history as one of the saddest parts of this whole left wing obsession with sex.
That is where it all comes from.
Free will run riot.
I had a long and highly complicated identity crisis and understand where he is at.
I, however, never once considered the addasnatchtome…
I agree. Just go away and do all of this in private. I think the courage award was just farcical icing on the cake.
I think my favorite trannies were Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John LeGuizamo. All the others are just wannabes.
No Psul?
I feel bad for him being left out.
You had to see the movie. Best scene was the deputy sheriff trying to grope Patric Swayze (in a really retro-60s dress), who yelled ‘Getyourhandsoffmydick!’
I nearly slid out of my theater seat laughing over this. And then Wesley Snipes in full drag teaching a wanker a lesson with a vicious crotch punch that put him on his knees. That was funny, too.
Trannies are kind of like toupees – occasionally you’ll see one that looks good, but 95% of the time they’re not fooling anyone.
COL Christopher Vanek, the commander of the 75th Ranger Rgt is reprimanded for misconduct. COL Vanek received positive feedback on the comments section…

And Winston Churchill knew D-Day would come:
4 June 1940
“I have, myself, full confidence that if all do their duty, if nothing is neglected, and if the best arrangements are made, as they are being made, we shall prove ourselves once again able to defend our Island home, to ride out the storm of war, and to outlive the menace of tyranny, if necessary for years, if necessary alone.
At any rate, that is what we are going to try to do. That is the resolve of His Majesty’s Government-every man of them. That is the will of Parliament and the nation.
The British Empire and the French Republic, linked together in their cause and in their need, will defend to the death their native soil, aiding each other like good comrades to the utmost of their strength.
Even though large tracts of Europe and many old and famous States have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Gestapo and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail.
We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France,
we shall fight on the seas and oceans,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
we shall fight in the hills;
we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God’s good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.”
Question: Is this site going to show who is commenting on what?
Is this a new, intentional design or just temporary?
I always liked “clicking” on a link that was hot or current. Now, it is difficult to know who is commenting on what.
Not complaining, just curious.
If it is driving you crazy … just imagine how it is making the DRC feel.
They are forced to read everything now!
No doubt there is a reason , a very good reason!
But what do I know …
Word.
Master chief, If you admitted in open court that you were totally ignorant of the matter under discussion, I would still count you as an expert witness. You know a lot and we can’t wait for you to share it. Stand by to repel boarders.
Ah, I and a handful of others know everything as it was all open source and in the pubic domain.
However, piecing it all togther in a package with the big red bow took a lot of work.
Having said that, Lady Justice (and did I mention, she is smokin’ hot) now has EVERYTHING for action.
In the end, there will be a book, 60 Minutes episode, full length feature movie (produced by Clint Eastwood), huge premiere party in NYC, action figures, Saturday morning cartoon based on characters and a Lego set series all based on the story. So I guess you can say the story will be told.
He challenged the wrong Master Chief Petty Officer!
Clint Eastwood, huh?
Is there any room in there for an old lady like Philo Beddoe’s Ma?
I want Chuck Norris to be cast as me in the movie…
I want Frank Stallone to portray me. He did a hell of a job in “Terror In Beverly Hills”.
I would assume it is making their catheters kink up after deployment.
We’re working on it. The “Recent Comments” plug in went berserk the other day and started requesting 2700 packages of information which shut down the blog so we disabled it. We’re trying to get it to work again.
Thanks.
\(^U^)/
The Supreme Allied Commander was a man of great character. To prove it, one only needs to read his letter “in case of failure”, where he soley takes responsibility for a possible failure well in advance.
See it here at the Nat Arch, great site and discusses the issue at length:
http://www.archives.gov/education/lessons/d-day-message/
Every time I think of Eisenhower, I think of the photo of him talking to a group of 101st Airborne troopers in warpaint getting ready to board C-47 transports.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve also come to appreciate the effort it took to keep the elements tightly bound. Given the egos involved in the Allied command structure, it must have been a lot like herding cats. Just keeping George Patton from punching out Bernard Montgomery was probably a full-time job for any normal person.
There was a great reason Ike would visit the troops as much as he did. He knew he’d be sending a lot of men off to die, so he felt it was his duty to look them in the eye, to ask them their names and hometowns, to remind himself they were people, and not just mere numbers.
This is from last year on the 70th anniversary.
Maybe all hope is not lost for our world and our country.
*tissue alert*
Damn! It’s dusty here just now.
There is hope for the future generations and the Republic.
In 1994, Bill Clinton said, “We are the children of your sacrifice. We are the sons and daughters you saved from tyranny’s reach. We grew up behind the shield of the strong alliances you forged in blood upon these beaches, on the shores of the Pacific, and in the skies above, and when our time came, and the country called us to serve, I and many others said, “Vietnam? Military service” Screw that. Hell no, we won’t go.”
In 2009, Barack Obama said, “It is a story that has never come easy, but one that always gives us hope, For as we face down the hardships and struggles of our time, and arrive at that hour for which we were born, we cannot help but draw strength from those moments in history when the best among us were somehow able to swallow their fears and secure a beachhead on an unforgiving shore so that, one day, I might transform their beloved country into one they wouldn’t recognize.”
Nice point, AC. Speeches don’t impress me. They don’t fill bellies, put roofs over people’s heads, develop medicines, or keep the intricate structures of our society functioning. All they do is make the person standing in front of the camera believe that he/she really is important. It has been a long time since I heard a speech that had any meaning for me — or, come to think of it, one that had any meaning at all.
If you haven’t got it, get it.

Well its time to get something good to drink and toast for all the old timers from the 82nd. I loved hearing the story’s from the men that did it.
AIRBORNE!
By the way Normandy Beach has a nice web-cam.
From the American Cemetery and Memorial. 0200-1230 EST: http://abmc.ubicast.tv/permalink/l12480f26dcc0cd1bd34/
My only connection to the Normandy Invasion was my father. His Transportation Company came ashore on D+6, moved a mile or so inland and came under German artillery fire. His happy little band of truck drivers got their baptism of fire on a little crossroads in France. As service troops they had never been exposed to exploding shells and confused the smell with gas. They were a little excited for a while, but settled down and got on with their part of the war. They hauled food and fuel to Patton all the way to Czechoslovakia.
I don’t know what the hell this “logistics” is that Marshall is always talking about, but I want some of it. – Admiral E. J. King
I’ve never been to Normandy, but while stationed in Heidelberg Germany, I did wangle a four-day leave and completed a personal staff ride of the Southern France campaign (Opn DRAGOON) from Sainte Tropez on the Riviera through Montelimar in the Rhone Valley and into the Vosges mountains and Epinal and St. Die to the Alsatian Plains and Colmar and Strasburg, following the route of my old regiment as it drove up from southern France into the Vosges mountains. French folks treated me very nice as I visited the old “Champagne Campaign” battlefields; I don’t have a bad thing to say about the French country folks I met during this personal staff ride.
Everyone, esp Vets, should try to go there. Pointe du Hoc takes my breath away every time I see it. What balls it took to climb that cliff.
I will forego my normal commentary so as not to tarnish the respect that i have for all WW2 vets.
The person whose name I always mention shall remain unmentioned this week because he has no right to be mentioned in the context of this weekend.
“Band of Brothers” disk 1 starts at 0900 tomorrow. There will be smoked ribs, potato salad, baked beans, libations and stogies.
That is all.
That’s a great idea! Hope Class VI store is still open.
Is this an invite?
Bring it!
I need the grid. 6 digits is close enough, I’ll track the smell of ribs and stories. I come bearing Guiness and Jameson
I have an uncle who was with the 82nd during World War II. He was with the 504th PIR in Sicily; in Italy, both during the approach to Naples and at Anzio; at Market-Garden; and during the Bulge.
He wasn’t at Normandy. His regiment was so beat up from Anzio that the 507th PIR replaced them during Normandy.
He’s in Arlington today. He’s one of the people I wrote about here.
Rest in peace, my uncle; rest in peace. I’m sure your last surviving brother-in-law won’t mind me speaking for him and saying that he sends his regards.
2499 American Servicemen died on D day,
Even 71 years later that number is still going up.

Good site to get info
No direct family connections to D-Day.
My father was in the Pacific with the 390th Inf, 98th Inf Div. My Uncle Bud was in a German POW camp in Pomerania and my Uncle Cal (the youngest of the five sons) did not enlist in the Army until 28 Jun 1944.
However, a couple of indirect connections. A farm neighbor from home jumped in with the 101st on D-Day and the Dean of Students at my high school was a Combat Medic in the 18th Inf, 1st Inf Div and went in at Normandy.
May all these men RIP. It was an honor to know you.
My father was there, serving in the United States Army, but he arrived several days after D-Day.
Up until the day he passed away, he said little or nothing of what he saw or did there.
During the Second World War, my stepmother also served in the United States Army.
When I was a Private First Class in the United States Army, and landed in the old Republic of Viet Nam, I was one (01) year younger than my father was when he landed on the beach in Normandy.
Here are my homemade amateur video recordings of a few popular songs from the Second World War:

My Dad’s took the Mediterranean tour, as arranged by the 5th Army. The itinerary was rather dynamic after the initial cruise from the states to jolly old England. As matters developed, his tour included a jaunt to North Africa, followed by a number of stops at points of interest on his way to Rome.
Here’s a good site to visit, it’s a virtual museum.

It’s a shit-eating sad statement about today’s liberal media when a former athlete gets called a “hero” for “coming out of the closet” growing boobs and getting cosmetic surgery while tucking his prick while a kevlar-tough Warrior who was deployed four times and racked up 160 confirmed kills is called a coward by the same sniveling snot-nosed liberal booger-eating thumbsuckers in the mainstream media. I see it as further proof of how liberalism is a Mental Disorder! I couldn’t give two hoots of a rusty fuck and a moldy ratshit about Jenner, I’m sick of hearing about him/her/whatever!
I just saw a Navy ad on TV that was, um, odd. It shows a little girl and some other civilians and concentric rings of Navy personnel in more types of uniforms than I knew existed in one branch. A voice says, “To get to you, they’d have to get past us.” I’m not sure who “they” is but I’m guessing that they are referring to terrorists, not a seaborne enemy attack force heading for Jones Beach or Atlantic City. Um, wasn’t there a US Navy on 9/11? And if there is another large-scale attack, well, I guess that commercial gets shit canned right quick.
That commercial is very symbolic, well shot and the backdrop in Naval Memorial in downtown Wash DC. I kinda like it a lot. I re-enlisted on that spot shortly after 9/11.
Nothing to do with D-Day or the Navy, but I’m fascinated with the way sharks want to be petted like cats or dogs.

Yea! Sure missed that thing! Impossible to keep up with the witticisms of the TAH hoard without it.
Eternal gratitude to hot code monkey hippie chick.
Remember the Baltimore Riots? No, not those. Or those. The ones that happened earlier this year. Well, the Baltimore Sun reports that 27 pharmacies and two methadone clinics were looted and the amount of prescription drugs taken is staggering. The city is now floating the theory that all of those drugs that hit the streets have caused the surge of shootings and murders. So, the mayor has done what? She asked the Feds for more money for a summer jobs program. Go ahead. Just try to make up some sillier shit than this.
So, you’re saying the mayor of Detroit – sorry, BALTIMORE – is an incompetent ass who is leading that city into ruin, like Detroit, and should be asked to step down?
Ex, I believe the term is “Run out of town on a rail.”
Indeed it is, AW1Ed. Indeed it is.
Some random Phil Monkress musings.
Phildo = Dildo but not all Dildos are Phildos.
Phildo + $100 = Phildo
Phildo * $100 = Phildo
Phildo / $100 = Phildo
$100 – Phildo = $100
My dog just dropped a huge, steaming pile of Phil Monkress in my yard.
My buddy had to go a shot for some sort of reason he refused to talk about. When pressed about what the doctor said, he responded “The doc asked me if I was playing with Phildo. You know, the False Commander Phil Monkress, the CEOI of All-Points Logistics?”
Yikes!
Your dog sure craps a lot! /smile
Considering WWII today and this caught my eye. The grandson of The Enola Gay Pilot, Paul W. Tibbets Jr. is now Brig. Gen. Paul W. Tibbets IV and took command of the 509th Bomb Wing during a ceremony at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. The B-2 Base. great picture of the two in the article in the last flying B-29 Superfortress.
http://www.stripes.com/news/us/grandson-of-enola-gay-pilot-takes-command-of-b-2-bomb-wing-1.350923
My Grandfather landed at Normandy. I believe in either the second or third wave, I can’t be sure since he never talked about it. My last duty station was Camp Atterbury, Indiana, the same camp that he mobilized out of during WWII.
Been watching Beau Biden’s funeral. POTUS did a fine job. Just watching the end now.
You are scaring me.
He did a good job.
It was a funeral for BeGeezeUs sake!
Plus Beau by all accounts was a solid man!
So, I tip my hat to the POTUS for representing our Nation well.
Don’t think that was 2/17’s point. Dear Leader is infamous for turning every event into being about Him. Apparently he did not do that this time and Beau got a moving send off. Prayers for all concerned. Joe has buried too many of his kids and a wife (I believe). That sucks.
He buried his wife and baby girl. I think the two boys were injured as well.
FOX’s site seemed complimentary too. He must not said “me” a thousand times like he usually does.
Well, he is about 18 months away from being a former POTUS. Maybe he realized that after 20 Jan 2017, people stop kissing his behind – and he’ll need willing cooperation from others to get anything done.
Post Time at Belmont. Jockeys are mounted. Let’s see what happens.
Congratulations to American Pharaoh and his team.
Now will NBC please fucking “retire” that whiny bitch and tool Bob Costas!!!
That fucht, he ruined the procast.
I thought he might go off on a animal cruelty speech about how badly the horses are treated.
Anyhow, we have a Triple Crown Winner.
It is good for the horse racing industry and America!
Costas sucks. Those fractions were horrendous. 48 and change for the half. 113 3/5 for 6f. It was a cakewalk. Materiality was there to push the pace and failed. That was the only way he was going to lose, if he and Materiality went out on a hot pace, setting up the closers, Frosted and Keen Ice. It’s history now. The classiest thing? Penny Chenery (Secretariat) was there just in case and in case happened. Of course, there is Big Red and then every other TC champ. Last thing. In 1978, Affirmed and Alydar effectively match-raced through the TC. ANY other year (except ’73) Alydar is a TC champ. (No, I don’t care for the Sport of Kings….much.)
My grandpa was a sailor during WWII. He piloted one of the landing boats.
One of his stories was how his boat opened up and three machine guns hosed down everyone. A bullet went through the guy in front of him, through his armored vest, and lodged in his dog tag. When he woke up, his boat was disabled, so he crawled out, grabbed a rifle, and made his way up the beach.
Next to his tags (with the bullet still in them), he has a luger that he picked up. It has a pearl grip with gold inlaid wreath (around a Swastika). He never said how he got it other than he picked it up inside a MG nest.
In addition to the climbing of Pointe du Hoc, the visual of the ramp dropping and what resulted makes me so indebted to those in the assault. I have enough trouble with English…glad we’re not all speaking German.
Sign of the Cross to your Grandpa.
OT, if that’s possible on an open thread.
I’ll start out with an on-topic item: my (late?) father-in-law told me many stories about life in Brussels during the occupation. He hated Germans until his last breath. One vidid memory was a German officer back handing and beating his brother because he got in his way on a streetcar.
This post is because of Alzheimer’s. Nice folks just checked into our vacation rental. The “elder” lady (61) doesn’t know where she is yet she appears to be totally healthy and happy. Her 30’s daughter will be taking care of her for a long time and she’s good with it. God Bless Her!
My (late?) mother-in-law has had it for 20+ years. She doesn’t know that her husband of 60+ years died 5 years ago. She doesn’t know her daughter (my late wife) has died. She doesn’t know she is in Brussels. She knows very little but is happy. Her physical health is perfect. Everyone around her is almost dead.
My late wife had just been told by a neuro Doc that she had it in early stages. I think she gave up then and there and willed herself to die.
Yet the assholes amongst us rock on. They know who they are. Karma is a bitch.
Alzheimer’s sucks. I hope I can find my 1911 if I get it.
End of vent. Out.
I made it thru another weekend withouit being murderered and or assasininated!
Are you saying no one cometh? Over?
No one!
OVER
########
DAB: “No you talk then say OVER”.
Me: “What?”
DAB: “NO, you have to say OVER”.
Me: “OVER”.
DAB: “NO, you have to say something first”.
Me: “OK”.
DAB: “No, you have to say OVER”.
Me: “OVER”.
DAB: “NO …”.
And the conversation went like this for 10 minutes … Abbott and Costello would have been proud of me how I played him like a cheap youkalayllee!
Bernath is not, never was nor will he ever be a Genuine or Honorary CPO. PERIOD!
And for those playing the home edition of the TAH board game …some one IS going to jail.
The influence and power of the Chiefs Mess is deep and permeates many industries and sectors of our society.
You challenge a MCPO and the MCPON … You had better bring a game bigger than what you have demonstrated to date!
KMRIUSNBTMMSWEOOWREPVNSWQUALEDRETA!
That is all … For now anyway.
East Coast or West Coast DRG getting fitted for the Orange jumpsuit? Enquiring minds want to know.
As a bettin’ man, in the end, not full knowin’, unaware of evidence …
Yeah, all of em’!
A preview for that “someone” that is facing time in jail:
It was an honor to spend some time yesterday with long time friends who had people at Normandy. Had not done that in quite some time. Humbling.
Dave, I believe that ties the record for the most concise comment ever posted at TAH.
UPDATE:
Taking United red eye out of LGA to LAX early tomorrow morn.
Got wee bit of bidness to do at a CA Bar.
It is good to have friends in high places.
Staying at the W on the arm of a lawyer who hangs his hat at a CA Bar.
I will be in and out over the next few days.
You should definitely be a spectator in the Bar Hearing. Just a spectator, because you don’t really have a horse in the race (teehee).
Not that it might cause a certain non-CPO to completely lose his shit, but that’s his problem. You would just be a spectator watching the wheels of Justice turn and grind and crush.
Are you going to play golf with that smokin’ lady lawyer?
Or was that a judge?
Hmmmm. It might be very interesting if one of the females involved led him to believe she was a tranny, then sit back and watch his reaction.
Point is that he just makes it too easy to mess with him. It would be sad if he were not such a vindictive, self absorbed fool. He can’t seem to respond to anything appropriately.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone screw themselves like Daniel A. Bernath has. Methinks he’ll be laughed at until he’s forgotten.
I don’t think he will be forgotten around here. He’s Bernathed himself too much to be forgotten.
Bot of course! He’s Bernathed himself in the legal profession to where he’ll be the butt of their jokes for years as well!

Going home today, my work is done here!
Translation please? Over.
No translation neccessary at this time.
OVER
Translation IS necessary to understand it, BUT, understand there may be need for OPSEC. Anxiously await same. BZ. OUT.
I don’t have any experience in bar discipline, but my translation seems to indicate that Bernath was hit with additional allegations separate from the allegations Bernath is already being slammed with that the bar will take up in deciding the fate of his license.

YOU are a “go” at this station.
Hopefully the California bar will post the new notice of disciplinary charges soon, just as they did with the original. Should make for some interesting reading.
Bernath’s only defense up to this point has been; 1. Everyone is out to get him because he’s so awesome, 2. He needs time to pee.
Demonstrating a complete lack of basic legal and ethical skills is probably not the best tactic when the bar is your judge and jury.
Book makers are rumoredto has these procedings as the most watchedin disbarment history.
What I meant to say, but my new CIA/NSA X3-90 iPhone Platform Hand Module (govt. contract # BS-52M-1666-DAB), fat-fingered my input, was:
“Book makers in Vegas are rumored to have these procedings as the most watched in disbarment history”.
I wonder what kind of odds any bookies are giving on
1. Disbarment
2. Jail time
3. More delay shenanigans and their chances of being denied.
4. His being led from the courtroom in handcuffs.
They, all three of them, have got away with their BS for so long, they don’t recognize the chickens coming home to roost. I’m sure they all thought we would have given up by now.
He could always work for the VA.
No, even the VA has some ethics.
I can’t wait for publishing of the full blown DRG AAR. The TAH Command Group has been through a lot with the DRG and I’m sure it will make fascinating reading.
The closest glimpse the Cadre (H/T Chevy) has of this are when the Letters from Psul are posted or when the not-for-long lawyer/never a CPO of any kind hacks in. These reveal the lunacy of the DRG and they are hilarious. I pray the Command Group release more of these classic emails as an appetizer to the final DRG AAR.
Over.
It ain’t over!
OVER
I know it ain’t OVER yet, OVER.
But I anxiously await the final DRG AAR when it is OVER.
OVER.
So, all of his bullshit ethics charges he was throwing at both the judge and counsels are coming back to bite him in the catheter? Good.
Judging by his little website, he is really enjoying paying out defamation lawsuits As he is back on that bandwagon again
I wonder where the money will come from? I’ve heard that his insurance company dropped him like a rotten onion. How about the existing judgements against him as well, are there still others waiting for a payout, i.e. the Yelp lawsuit?
I have no idea, but they seem to be refocusing on poor Don Shipley and the distingushied Master Chief again as the whole campaign that was supposed to put TSO in jail and have Jon run out of town failed
Yeah, I’m sure that it makes him even madder every time Don Shipley (SCPO, USN, Ret.) and his wife ignore Daniel A. Bernath’s libel and slander against them, ditto with others. IMHO, Daniel A. Bernath and the other members of The Dutch Rudder Gang crave any attention they can get like a junkie craves a “fix”.
Or the way a Rent Boy (or Phil Monkress) craves a kong dong.
*relaxing with a cup of good, stout coffee contemplating what the contents of the AAR will be*
