Wednesday morning feel good stories

| May 27, 2015

First up this morning is Indiana, the land of TSO;

According to IMPD officials, police responded to the report of a person shot at Abington Apartments. Police said two men entered the apartment unit and one of them fired shots. The victim returned fire.

The suspects fled the scene. Police said a man fitting one of the suspects descriptions showed up to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital with a gun shot wound. Police have not confirmed if he is one of the suspects.

There were a total of three people inside the apartment at the time of the shooting and none were injured, police said.

Neighbors were frustrated after learning about the invasion. “What gives you the right to go in someone’s house?” asked a woman did not want to be identified.

Next up is Texas where you’re not allowed to undo your crime;

According to Sgt. Michael Miller of Bellmead PD, a man witnessed another man stealing tools from a truck in the Wal-Mart parking lot. The witness called police and approached the burglar, who began returning tools to the truck after he learned police were on the way.

The burglar then got into his own vehicle and attempted to leave the scene. The witness told him to stop because police were on their way. The burglar then reversed his vehicle toward the witness, threatening to hit him, at which point the witness fired one round into the back window of the burglar’s vehicle. The shooter has his concealed carry permit.

Neither the shooter or the attempted burglar were injured in the incident.
