Ron A. Spearman of Copperas Cove, TX; phony SF
The folks at Professional Soldiers send us a forgery of a DD214 from Sergeant Major Ron A. Spearman of Copperas Cove, Texas, just outside the Fort Hood gate. Most notable on this forgery is his 3rd award of the Combat Infantryman Badge – the siren’s song of the phonies. According to the document, Sergeant Major Spearman was born in 1961. In order for him to have 3 awards of the CIB, he would have had to serve in the Korean War or World War II, a decade or two before he was born.
It also says that he was discharged from the 7th Special Forces group at Fort Hood, TX, except that the 7th Group has never been at Fort Hood. There is no such MOS as 18BZ40P. In the award section (block 13), there are no “2 silver clusters”, sounds like peanut clusters. It would be 3rd Award. Jungle Warfare Training (actually JOTC – Jungle Operations Training Center), doesn’t go on your DD214 – it’s not a DoD recognized school. I’ve been twice, and there’s no mention on my DD214, but I can show you two certificates of completion.
The truth is somewhat different – he was an artilleryman for more than 13 years, with three years in the Guard or Reserves. He deployed to Desert Storm with me in 1991 from Garlstedt, Germany as part of our organic artillery.
Spearman planned to tell lies when he got out of the Army because he also penciled in this entry on his 2-1, because the Army doesn’t keep track of how many people you killed, especially as an artilleryman;
So, to sum up, no sergeant major, no Purple Hearts, no peanut clusters, no Bronze Stars (except for the bronze service stars on his Southwest Asia Service Medal, denoting service in Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Provide Comfort) no Legion of Merit and not even one CIB, let alone three.
Another perfectly good career ruined by lies.

This has to be one of the worse fake 214s I’ve ever seen… Another honorable service record down the crapper… And he was a Gun Monkey there is nothing wrong with that WTF WTF Dumb A$$
Jesse Macbeth is still the gold standard of fake 214s.
Roger on that….
Hey folks,
Just to give you all a little background…
That guy(Spearman)has not claimed any of that stuff. It was all started from a person that he once knew and that guy got ticked off at him.
How do I know? Because that same individual tried doing the same thing to me. He said allot of things that were very bad about me and several others. We just can’t prove it, (yet) but the common denominator is that person.
It is a shame that a person can say something or start a rumor and everyone jumps right on it as if it were the Gospel truth.
He ruined (or at least tried) to ruin me, but I put him in his place. Anyone that does not kiss his butt or does not agree with him he tries to besmirch them and their reputation.
Don’t be a player in his game, I’m sure you all have come across someone like him or knows of an innocent person that someone has done a similar thing to a people in your own life.
And if you happen to be reading this (you know who you are), you’re going to trip up one day and…
I served with Ron at Ft. Ord, CA C Batt 5/15th FA. He was also one of our Drill Instructors while I was going through basic at Ft. Sill, OK. He was a different platoon’s DS, but we felt his wrath one night. At Ord, he was a nice enough SSG/Section Chief. I even served with him on the Funeral Details/Honor Guard during my time. We all knew of his past discretions, but some of us chose to leave him alone about it. I felt he was embarrassed enough by being stripped and sent out to Ord to face the very same guys that he terrified in basic. IF this is true, I am not surprised. I hope it’s not though, he was a real cool dude. I have nothing against him.
Reminds me of an artillery guy I met in dallas. Kept going on and on about how hard he was and he was a killer. Then he pulled a box cutter, not a real knife, but a box cutter. I loved my drunk friends version of events to the cops. “He was bleeding out of every orafice on his face and a couple of new ones”. He then followed that up by putting his hands behind his back and asking the cop if he needed to turn around. When asked why, his response “that’s usually how these things end”.
All that just to say, why do arty boys try to be hard core bad asses? Claim what ya did and be proud of it.
I was in Air Defense Artillery as a new soldier back in the mid 70’s. Since I was the new guy, when the SGM came out to the site he stopped to speak to the lowly E-3. At the end of his pep talk I asked him what happen I there was a war and we ran out of missiles. He looked me in the eye and said well son, we become infantry. At that moment I decided to find another MOS if I stayed in. Switched to Medical Equipment Maintenance. We never ran out of broken medical equipment.
🙂 Beautiful 🙂
Big gun go BOOM!
Almost makes me wish I still lived in Cove… Not really.
With the right atmospherics, we can hear the 16 inch Navel guns being fired at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. It’s across the Potomac River from us, and sound travels well across water. We get ’em back with the F-35 flight test program. I’ve been around aircraft most of my life, the that bird is hands down the LOUDEST I’ve encountered, including the AV-8B Harrier.
Forgot to add, what a douche rocket loser you are, Spearman.
The loudest I think is still a A-6 Intruder on the cat!!.
27 confirmed kills.
What a nice arbitrary number. I wonder how he arrived at the number?
More tike 27 cocks he has tugged or two-holes Spearman has speared.
The turdslappiness is strong in this one.
Maybe he blew 27 winos out behind a bus stop one night while wearing spandex?
No, I think *27 would get you him for a date at the truckstop
Yeah, he does look like a gay “Lot Lizard”!
Sleeper Leaper !!!!!
Don’t forget to add his PT belt on his head 🙂
27 was my laundry number in Boot Camp. It was also the day of the month that my dog was born on. I usually select that number as my powerball number when buy lottery tickets.
27 with one strike!
The question which nags me is why people embellish their service record. I get civilians that have no clue and want to impress the girls, but guys with actual service should know better than that.
Wow Jonn, you’re the only guy I’m aware of that was a Jungle Warfare Training recycle! 🙂
Yep, that’s me. The school was a unit school, when your unit went, you went, even if you’d been there once already.
My two uncles went to jungle school in Panama one of them once, the other three times !!!! the later was with 25th ID From 66-81 I do believe but please don’t Quote me on that Lol… he retired in 2000 and sometimes follows the blog here….
Never did the jungle school, but I’ve been to JRTC 9 times.
9 times. I bet that it got harder and harder for you to want to leave each time. Good ol’ Leesville.
We just found out he went once not three times, went to some winter school up at fort Greeley that’s all
The course in Ft Sherman? did that with my unit in 92-93 timeframe. Do have the cert, and maybe even an old map from the land nav course here somewhere….
For a school that’s not recognized by the Department of Defense, and won’t appear on a DD-214, I sure have seen a lot of guys wearing that qualification patch on the right pocket of their olive drab jungle fatigue shirt.
I never went to Panama or attended Jungle Warfare School.
I attended the course in the early 80’s as a navy LT. We supplied black boats to act as opfor, so they let us attend a few at a time. I went through the course with a recon unit of the 82nd. Still have my certificate in my office.
So Jonn, or anyone else, why don’t they list the Jungle Warfare on your 214?
I was a cannon cocker and damned proud of it. The Army, in their infinite wisdom, shipped me to an infantry outfit in Korea. ;-(
OC
It’s not an official DoD school. Mostly, it existed to acclimate troops headed to Southeast Asia. It was an expensive team-building experience after the Vietnam War.
The only thing you learned is that the Atlantic side of Panama sucked really bad, unless you were a snake or a ‘gator of some sort. The Pacific side was heaven in comparison.
Jonn here is a article on 25th ID and jungle warfare

That guy is some piece of work, he posts things on the net and once its out there it’s hard to remove or fix.
I guess I can claim something related to Panama and Jungle Warfare. I walked from the club out by the Pizza Hut/Main Gate (I think)back to my ship at Naval Station Rodman Panama.
It was night, I was drunk, there were some big spiders on that very dark road…
I’ve spent some quality time at Rodman’s luxurious metal shack shanty town. Don’t feed the coatimundi!
AW1Ed… I have a problem Coatimundi hanging around my house… Driving my dog and cat crazy.
Well, don’t feed it! Like the AFRTS ad said back in the day…
😉
Or option 2, feed it some No.1 Buck.
Smiles Lol……
Army has a school for jungle warfare? Most of the Navy and AF guys I knew said a few months on Guam was infinitely worse.
I live west of Copperas Cove and work on Fort Hood. It’s just sad that this guy had an honorable career and feels there a need to inflate what he had and in an area that’s full of active and retired military. He probably hangs out at one of the donut shops with the retired SGM’s and wanted to fit in.
I have a zoomie buddy (I call him “the Mexican”) who lives in the AO of this assclown… I’m sure that he’d like to meet up with him and have a long talk…
What a dingle berry!!!!!!
He looks more like a Smurf-lusting unicorn-hugging candyassed little creampuff of a booger-eating bedwetting buck-toothed Swamp Donkey gonad-sniffing TURD BURGLAR to me. 😀
You come up with the best names I have ever seen.
Truly a talent on loan from God!
He does have a creative streak, doesn’t he? 😉
“Another perfectly good career ruined by lies.” Well, I’m beginning to wonder whether these guys really had perfectly good careers. On paper, perhaps, but I can’t help but think that these lying liars were a-holes in service too, even if their legit paperwork seems okay. Certainly, they are lacking something. My guess is that they didn’t lose it: they never had it in the first place.
So, a little more than a year after SF-Q course, he’s on the trail as a DS?
Yep – makes sense to me. I hear Green Beret Drill Sergeants were all the rage in the early 80s.
Punk. Next time I’m in Lampasas to see my kid we oughta go look him up and say “hi”.
The 214 actually lists PH 2nd award in the Awards section and again in the notes section. So, guess he is claiming a total of 4 PH’s.
Is “Under The Hood” coffee shop at Ft Hood? If so, is it still in bidness? Thinking that’s where alot of these turf sniffers go to get their motivation and ideas.
Looking at his assignments it looks like his tour as a Drill Sergeant was rather short.. Sept 85 to April 86… That includes a stint assigned to HQCo.
I’m not sure how the Army does it but Less than 7 months as a DS seems to me as a sign he stepped on his crank bigtime.
there’s no DS Badge on the 214. He was on the trail for 6 months. Something happened and they revoked the badge.
Only 27 kills as an arty guy? Looser.
Looking at his assignments it looks like he stepped on his crank as a Drill Sergeant as well, unless for some reason 6 months, including a stint in a HQ unit is considered a successful tour.
18BZ40P… BZ… Bravo Zulu busy the whole time? He sure did punk a few people with that one.
Net Active Service This Period… 26 years, 3 months and 20 days. Several “Immediate Re-enlistments this period” dates.
Veterans with more than one enlistment contracts under their belts would know how this would be handled on the latest DD 214.
We have the explanations of extension of service, then the, “Member acknowledged and signed letter of confidentiality concerning assignments, actions…” aka, “Can’t talk about it!”
Definitely All Points Logistics material. 🙄
And the math is wrong. According to the dates it should be 26 years, 2 months, 20 days.
Yeah, that “basic arithmetic” stuff trips up a helluva lot of fakers . . . .
The arithmetic isn’t on the Common Core list of things to test for.
It is now testing on social justice, all white people are racists, how white people steal everything you have so it’s OK to riot and loot stores. and how to kill a cop and get out of jail in six months.
Hondo, the new math just kicks their ass every time…
Plus that DD214 he forged is outdated for the period covered.
It was the correct edition (Nov88) being used when he ETSed in 1992, but when he claimed retirement in 2004, the correct edition should have been the Feb2000 form.
It’s those small details that get them every time.
When an “Instructor/Guest Speaker” walks in and opens with: “You guys are very lucky to have a man of my experience teaching this class”, my BS meter was in the yellow. When he stated: “I spent 27 years in the Army, 20 of those in SF”, my BS meter went to Orange, since most of my SF friends I’ve known over the years didn’t beat their chests to students the first 5 minutes of a new class. When he said: “I then went to work for Blackwater for 8 years”…my BS meter went into the red. Why? Well, he claimed BW from 2004-2012, the EXACT years I worked for BW. Never had laid eyes once on this guy. I asked him what teams he was on and after some stuttering and general BS he said: “It was a special project. They called us Tiger teams”. Had to stop myself from laughing out loud. That is when I started digging and with quite a bit of help from various people and sources, he was exposed for the lying POS that he is. Although plenty of his lies were exposed, I can’t help but feel like we’ve only scratched the surface with this guy. I’m sure more will still come out in the future.
I worked on the PTDS (Persistent Threat Detection System) contract for a big defense contractor (not BW). We had “Tiger Teams”, no shit. They were dumbasses, not badasses. I wonder if this clown was a PTDS guy. Tell him your generator is overdue for an oil change and see if he starts sweating.
He apparently wormed his way on to a contract with a Company called REF (Rapid Equipping Force?) in Iraq, 2009-2011. From what I understand, they grew suspicious of his SF claims when he couldn’t plan a simple training mission. I was informed by someone who worked with him on that contract that he was dismissed after a theft had occurred. They may have had something called “Tiger team”.
Never actually heard of a “V DECICE”
My name is Ron Spearman and I have several comments for several people. 1) Rod and Justin – thanks guys. It’s been a while since I’ve seen you and the other guys. Let’s stay in touch, I’m sorry to hear that you guys went through the same/similar things. 2) To the original poster/s – I read all of the hurtful things you wrote here and other places where you accuse me of abusing prescription drugs, called me lazy, unreliable, a child predator, a sexual deviate, incompetent and unprofessional and a thief. I know who you are, although I can’t prove it but my experience with knowing how you operate tells me it was you. BTW, the pictures posted were take in your shop. If your goal was to make me look bad or have people think ill of me… to some extent you were successful. I thank you for showing me just who those people are that would believe your rants and postings. I am better not having them in my life. 3) For all the strangers that were so quick to jump on board with the OP/s – I hope you never have to go through what myself and other have and I have some positive words of advice for you. If you ever come across a person that gives you a “hinky” feeling (that feeling you just can’t put your finger on). Slowly walk away backwards because if you turn around that person will stab you in the back. 4) To all future readers – use your best judgement concerning things posted online because anyone can make accusations or allegations, make up things and create documents and post them online. Count your lucky stars each day that you can wake up, have control of you limbs, speak somewhat intelligibly and live a moderately normal life because tomorrow is not promised to us. After my stroke, I learned that the only thing certain in life is death. Take the time to smell the roses while you can. Thank you to everyone for taking the time to read my comments… Read more »
I guess we’re not going to talk about the 3rd CIB award today, huh.
And “Dindu Nuffin” makes yet another appearance.
That individual certainly gets around, don’t they?
I bet you give have given some kids that “hinky” feeling.
Get lost.
Turd.
Not even an honorable mention, I’m, I’m devastated!
Hey Ronny, enjoy your fame, you’re nothing but a liar, a fraud and a bottom feeding scumbag.
Enjoy buddy, you earned it.
Team Sergeant
Wait, did you just use the word “hurtful”? I’m going to have to throw the bullshitte flag one more time.
I’ve used a lot of words in my life but “hurtful” was never one of them. The above post by Ronny was written by either a female or someone pretending to be a female.
