Monday morning feel good story

| November 3, 2014

Once again, Chief Tango sends us our feel good story this morning, this time it’s from Florida;

Germaine Dubose told officers he shot a man who kicked in the door of his apartment and charged at him about 1:40 a.m. Sunday. Police found Altone Finne dead inside the unit.

Inside the apartment with Dubose were his wife, a 6-week-old child and an adult friend.

“He’s given us an indication that he may have known the individual,” Sgt. Dan Jansen with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said at the scene. “Then again, he’s on his way downtown where detectives can do an extensive interview with him.”

After questioning Dubose, police said the case appears to be justifiable but remains under investigation.

I’m sure Mr. Finne was in the middle of turning his life around when he knocked on Mr. Dubuse’s home a little to hard with his foot in an attempt to deliver early presents and share his joy with the Dubose family.

The door … the door, can it be fixed?

Twist

It’s a tragedy what happened to that door.

Twist…Yes it’s sad. Someone always suffers. In this case…the door.

Should we raise funds to fix the door?? Or maybe just buy a new door?

We obviously need to have a memorial service for the old door…

We’ll get everybody together with coffee and beer and speak of the door’s life cut short by some unfeeling pukewad…

Put the dead dude on the old door and carry him away.
