Administrative note to all
Our technical team is migrating the blog to it’s own server at about Midnight (Central Time) because we’ve gotten too big for our britches. That shouldn’t interrupt our service to you unless you hit “Reply” at the exact same moment they’re moving it. They’ve been getting ready to move it since Monday which will probably explain why it’s been so slow the past few days.
For those of you who write here, if you have something in the queue to publish later, your posts should remain in the queue during the move, but I’d back them up on your PC, just in case.
I know some of you are night owls, we get comments and visits through the early morning hours from those of you who work the night shifts and those of you who are deployed around the world. I thought I’d warn all of you, though. We aren’t going away, just getting clothes that fit us.
Carry on.

Please do not forget to send out the “We’ve moved!” picture postcards with a color photo of your new server.
And don’t forget, some of you may have to clear your DNS cache.
For Wittgenfeld, He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named, Chevy, and any other trolls, it’s a simple process–just go into your C:Windows, and delete your System32 folder.
Problem solved.
How long before one or more of these dingle-berries claim they got Jonn thrown off the old server?
Vegas line has it at 1:5 odds that DullASS is already working on that, or will be when he wakes up from his latest bender.
I disagree.
Word has that Dullass is working balls in the men’s room instead.
And the shaft, don’t forget the shaft….
I’d give it at least a week before they figure it out.
Nah, most of them probably have system32 “protected” so it won’t show up in Explorer.
What they should do is open up the Command Prompt and execute “deltree C:\system32”. That will enable their full posting capabilities post-migration.
Almost as much fun as telling people they could see the hidden pron Bill Gates hid on their computer by hitting:
Del C:*.* and Y when prompted.
I found when reconfiguring to new web site, do the following … it will ensure all the functionality:
Go to C:Windows and delete your System folder first. Then wait 5 mins for auto sys refresh. Then go to C:Windows and delete your System32 folder. Wait 5 mins, then shut down your computer … restart in 5 minutes.
If you do that …. Good to Go!
Hey….that don’t work!
Roger that.
Jonn…On board. Thanks for TAH and all you guys do to keep it on the air, 5 by 5.
roger that!
Are we there yet?
