Las Vegas murderers met good guy with a gun
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the cop murdering scum, whatever their names were, ran into a good guy with gun confirming their earlier reports;
After the shooting, the couple headed toward a nearby Wal-Mart, where Jerad Miller was confronted by Joseph Robert Wilcox, 31, of Las Vegas. Wilcox was legally carrying a concealed pistol. Wilcox was unaware that Amanda Miller, who was pushing a shopping cart, was involved in the incident and “lying in wait,” the official said.
She slipped behind Wilcox and shot him at close range.
“He had no idea the wife was walking behind him,” the police official said of the murdered man. “This guy (Wilcox) was not some idiot with a gun. To me, he was a hero. He was trying to stop an active shooter.”
Police said this morning that Wilcox was killed without firing a shot.
That part is unfortunate, but at least he warned others and gave them time to get away. A lack of targets is probably what prompted the two murderers to finalize their murder-suicide pact. The male murderer seems to have an extensive criminal record and it looks like when they departed for their short-lived crime spree, they announced to neighbors that they were going out to kill cops. It doesn’t look like the neighbors took the loons seriously.
The female doesn’t seem to have a criminal record, according to the article.

The thing that scares me about this is that it seems to happen all too often. I’m sure the media has something to do with it…..we can practically watch these shootings live on CNN or Fox News nowadays. The media is never far away from the next tragedy. I’m not saying that we should take away people’s guns, but I will say that there are far too many crazy and evil people out there. That’s what scares me…..that pretty much anybody who wants a gun can easily get a gun, and I simply think there are some who shouldn’t have one. With that being said, I know there are many, many responsible gun owners out there so I’m not advocating taking away everyone’s right to bear arms. But I also know how easy it is to illegally obtain a gun. There is a very large number of inmates at the penitentiary where I work who are charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. Felons aren’t supposed to be allowed to obtain a firearm, so how do they get them so easily? I’m just venting now, cause I have no idea how to fix the problem….or if it even can be fixed. I just pray for the families of those who were lost.
If anybody could figure out how to get the guns out of the hands of nuts, they’d be screaming from the rooftop. Nothing — not even repealing the Second Amendment — can get guns out of the hands of criminals.
