Wednesday morning feel good stories
I’ve been delinquent in writing these stories, so I’ll try to catch up today. the first story is from Ohio, where one neighborhood in Columbus has been experiencing a number of burglaries recently, but those might fall off a bit now;
Sue’s neighbor was inside his home around 4:00 Monday morning and jumped when he heard a noise in his garage off of Parsons on Bruckner Avenue. The man and his wife went outside to find out what was going on and that’s when police say they confronted the burglar.
Officers tell 10TV a struggle ensued for the homeowner’s gun before he fired multiple shots.
A short time later, doctors pronounced the gunshot victim dead at Grant Medical Center.
In North Carolina, another crime spree has ended in the best way possible after the burglar made a choice to break the law;
“Somebody was you know knocking on the door at 9:15, 9:30 in the morning,” said Haith. “I wanted to roll over and stay in the air conditioning, and I just ignored it.”
When the door knocks lasting 15 minutes were followed by a boom and a thud, Haith grabbed his AR-15 semi-automatic from under his bed and slowly crept into the hallway.
“I peeked around the corner, saw a tall, slender black gentleman standing over me with a pistol,” said Haith.
When Johnson allegedly fired at Haith with a 9mm and missed, he fired back. The bullet pierced the Johnson’s stomach and shoulder.
“That was my round,” said Haith. “Evidently, it went through his body and struck the wall.”
Pandemonium followed, and Johnson scurried out. An apparent getaway vehicle spun out of Haith’s yard to pick up Johnson, who had collapsed outside of a day care up the street.

Chief Tango sends us a story from Florida where a burglar got shot right his brains;
About 11:21 p.m. Sunday, three armed men forced their way into a residence in the 800 block of Third Street East. After taking personal property, they fled on foot, according to a report.
One of the victims chased one of the suspects to a residence in the 600 block of 10th Avenue East, where shots were fired, police said.
“Several minutes later, it was learned that one of the suspects, identified as Kevon M. Melendez … was at Blake hospital with a gunshot wound to the buttocks,” the report states.
So, all is well that ends well.

Happy to see that all the homeowners are safe and sound.

But… but… AR-15s are only good for killing lots of innocent people and can’t be used for hunting, target shooting, or self-defense! Biden told me!
With all of these stories in the news recently, you’d think folks would learn — but I guess some folks just don’t learn until you attach the lesson to a piece of lead and insert it somewhere in their body.
