Another political attack on a veteran

| April 23, 2014

We talked the other day about the attack on gubernatorial candidate and Iraq veteran Anthony Brown by perfumed prince Doug Gansler and the attack on Tom Cotton by Mark Pryor in the Arkansas Senate race. Now, in Alaska, Democrat Mark Begich puts out the following ad against Marine and GWOT veteran Dan Sullivan who went to work for the Bush White House and was called to active duty for two years.

Gansler, Pryor, nor Begich have any military service, and apparently, they don’t respect the service of their opponents, we can only guess at their opinions of their constituents’ service. Thanks to Chief Tango for the link to Breitbart.

By the way, I can’t find any evidence of VoteVets supporting either Sullivan or Cotton, but VoteVets claims to be non-partisan. I asked them once if they had ever supported a Republican veteran for office and they said that they had once supported Chuck Hagel, however Chuck Hagel never ran for office after the founding of VoteVets, so…I guess the answer to my question would be ‘no’.

Scum.

They’re running scared, they know that their time is almost up.

Square in the black. They’re lashing out because they have nothing substantive left to offer the voters.

Just another ‘progressive’ (read leftist) organization hiding behind veterans. Their Facebook page offers this, “While non-partisan, the group is the largest progressive organization of veterans in America.” That’s hardly non-partisan and that organization is hardly ,”The Voice of America’s 21st Century patriots.” I left a nice negative review on the Facebook page.

I know Tom Cotton. He could have gone into the Army as a JAG but chose Infantry. He completed Ranger School then served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Great education, disciplined, focused and stands by his values. Recently married. I also know Mark Pryor, nice guy, never served, wife divorced him a while back and today I received something saying how he will defend our commissary’s and especially the ones at Little Rock AFB and Pine Bluff Arsenal. Problem is Pine Bluff has NEVER had a commissary and we all make the 50+ mile drive to the Air Base. You would think someone who has served as an Arkansas Senator for as long as Mark has would, or at least his staff would, know where the commissary’s are in Arkansas. The other one is at Camp Robinson in Little Rock. But his publicist does not hesitate to e-mail me grip and grin glossy’s for my newsletter.

PBA has (or used to have) a tiny, tiny PX that’s about half the size of what you would find at a gas station. Hope that’s not the commissary he’s refering to. Talk about out of touch. Heck, the PBA doesn’t even have a dozen Soldiers stationed there full time anymore I don’t think. It’s all civilians. At one point, the housing area had more Coast Guard residents than Army, but they tore it down so they could spend more money on Colonels Row. I don’t really miss that place….

Mark Begich’s brother Nick = certfied looney. Used to be a frequent guest on Art Bell radio show. Had a resume similar to CheveLiar and gave radio interviews that only Bernath would be jealous of. Like Bernath, Nick Begich was never a CPO or a real lawer.

So about VoteVets, you might want to check out this ad: http://youtu.be/bN12iiKFxGk

I’m not a fan of the mine either, but this ad and juxtaposition of it with fighting AQ in Iraq and facing IEDs just makes my stomach churn.
