At ease

| April 22, 2014

Democrat incumbent Senator Mark Pryor said that his opponent, Tom Cotton, feels a “sense of entitlement” to the Senator job in Arkansas. So this is Cotton’s response;

Not a bad approach. Hope he wins the election.

Sparks

Good on him! Hope Cotton wins.

Farflung Wanderer

I like this guy. If I was in Arkansas, I’d definitely put my vote up for him.

Here’s hoping the good people of that state think the same, and put someone who’s actually done something with their life in the position that people who have done something with their life should have.

TSO

Cotton will win fairly easy. Unless they find a live boy or a dead girl, this one is over.

I lived in Arkansas for a little over 8 years and got to watch some really dysfunctional politicians up close, including Pryor. Pryor is an odd fellow. But speaking of entitlement – his daddy was Arkansas Governor and a Senator. He’s used that in the past. And just to rile folks up, he voted against the amendment to outlaw burning the US flag. Real stand-up patriot.

MrBill

I was ticked off after reading the Marine-on-a-cross story, but his one put a smile back on my face. Good on ya, Cotton! I hope you win.

ABNGramps82

I was the same way as you. I hope Cotton wins by a landslide!!

Yeah, Cotton appears to be the real deal. He even shows up for votes in Congress! Imagine that–someone who actually does a job. His military service record is eviable and his academic credentials are impeccable. If Arkansas ever doesn’t want him, we’ll take him in WV.

Here’s the n. Please stick it bewteen the e and v in “eviable.” Thanks.

I HATE IT when that happens …

DAMN good ad! I hope Cotton wins, it’s past time for the people of Arkansas to fire Pryor!!

Damn good ad and original.

Pryor is the one with a sense of entitlement who wouldn’t be in the Senate had his daddy not been a political powerhouse in Arkansas.

Pryor’s a pudgy, rich-boy, elitist who hobnobs with Hollywood, conducting fundraisers there to defeat a good man like lean, mean, ex-infantry officer, Tom Cotton, here in Arkansas. That really goes over well with locals and the Cotton campaign is hammering him with it.

What’s really hurting Pryor is is support of Obamacare which has caused some hefty increases in Arkansas health insurance premiums. Mine and my my wife’s went up 30% and we’re among the lucky ones.

Arkansas is a former Democrat stronghold, now steadily trending Republican as Dems grow increasingly loony Left on the national level.

I have volunteered to his campaign staff to write op-ed letters on his behalf if they can help get them published with friendly newspapers around the state but so far no response.

Richard

Write them anyway. If they like them, well good. If they don’t like them you didn’t waste your time.

LebbenB

He might be a politician, but he still has an Infantryman’s sense of humor. He’s a keeper.

There is something ironic about an incumbent claiming his opponent is “entitled” to a seat while he is trying to keep that same seat.

Great commercial. No wonder that douche is in serious trouble.

A well done response and ad.

Cotton had a lot of support when he first announced.

The reality is that multiple polls (in the last few weeks) show Pryor ahead, but with the margin of error, it’s a dead heat.

They both have problems in this race.

Pryor with support of affordable healthcare and Cotton with voting against the farm bill and the sequester.

Considering it is an agricultural district, I am not suprised Cotton is losing support.

Pineywoods NCO

Hell, I would take both Cotton and his old drill sergeant here in Texas.

Currahee!

Common Sense

“Cotton with voting against the farm bill and the sequester.

Considering it is an agricultural district, I am not suprised Cotton is losing support.”

The farm bill wasn’t a farm bill, it was a food stamps bill and large corporate farm bill. People who think it’s support for small family farms are sadly mistaken. Anyone with integrity should have voted against it.

Hopefully, people in Arkansas are aware of that.

jonp

It’s Arkansas. How many people do you think know the difference?
