Joseph Edward Haddad; General BS

| March 30, 2014

Joe Haddad

Mary sends us her paperwork on this General Joseph Edward Haddad fellow who claims to be a Marine Corps Reserve Brigadier General who served in Vietnam from 1969 to 1974, was at the Beirut bombing, Grenada, Panama, Desert Storm, you know like Forrest Gump he was every where. Of course, he was richly rewarded for his trouble;

Joe Haddad rack

Claims two Navy Crosses (no record of either), a Silver Star, two Bronze Stars for Valor. The rack shows four Purple Hearts, but folks say he claims fricken seven. It looks like he has a POW Medal, too. He missed out on the campaign stars for his Southwest Asia Medal, it would have added some more sparkle to his little collection of prettiness.

The NPRC says none of that stuff;

Joseph Edward Haddad FOIA

His assignments show three months in Vietnam. Period. he went to the hospital for a day and then sent to Seattle, no Purple Heart, so I have to guess it is because of an accident not under fire;

Joseph Edward Haddad assignments

Oh, yeah, he also claims to be an Annapolis grad (class of ’67) but they have no record of him, but he wears a USNA ring. When Mary busted him the first time, he took all of his glitter off the internet, the USNA and Navy Cross from his license plates. But since Mary took her website down, I guess everyone is afraid he’s going to start back up. So, maybe this will stop him?

“…afraid he is going to start back up.”

A famous “Wanted Poster” might be called for?

Hondo

(scuba breathing in sound)
(deep voice) “Ballduster, Soup . . . I am your Father!”

C2Show

What a moron, he didn’t even have to do this. Wonder what the over/under is that he remains in hiding.

LebbenB

He’s a general, alright…General Foods. He looks like a Christmas tree ornament – all shiny and round.

The pic here is very flattering. You should see the one in his bathing seuit at the link below (c/o blogger.) Have an eye dropper full of bleach handy if you do.

blogger? I meant bobble.

bobble

This man’s life is like an on-going train wreck in super slow-motion IMax:

Grab some popcorn and enjoy the show/read.

Well, didn’t take long… went to link and this is what I found.

Sorry, the blog at general-joe.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs.

AFEM is azz backwards as is his life.

Just An Old Dog

What a shitferbrains. The records on him look a bit incomplete. It only accounts for 18 months. The 6 year obligation ( Inactive Reserve) would explain why his records go out to 1974.
Just a matter of lingo but Marines don’t use the terminology “Expert Badge with Rifle Bar” for awards. Probably something the NPR clerk put in. It should read “Expert Rifle badge”
At any rate he had a good enough record, Marine Corps Tracker with Vietnam Service and a Combat action Ribbon. He got hurt after a few months and sent home. On the surface not a bad record.
Better a real Lance Corporal than a phony General.

The FOIA states he was awarded the Cross of Gallantry with Palm. It does not say “Unit Citation” — which I’m assuming this really is. A grunt had to do something very special to be recognized at RVN-Armed Forces Level for valor.

Gallantry Cross with Palm: cited at the Armed Forces level
Gallantry Cross with Gold Star: cited at the Corps level
Gallantry Cross with Silver Star: cited at the Division level
Gallantry Cross with Bronze Star: cited at the Regiment or Brigade level

US Navy and Marine Corps authorization

The Navy and Marine Corps authorizes the Gallantry Cross unit award as the Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation (Gallanty Cross color with Palm and Frame); RVN Meritorious Unit Citation (Gallantry Cross). In addition to specific ships/units cited, the RVN Meritorious Unit Citation (Gallantry Cross) is authorized for all Navy and Marine Corps personnel who served “in country” Vietnam, 8 February 1962 to 28 March 1973.

THREE PUC’s? NO USMC unit was awarded more than two, and IIRC, none after early 1969.

Frankly, I see anyone sporting more than one and not wearing dolphins, I call bullshit.

Another guy who had a surplus store take a shit on his chest. And frankly, is there any wonder why he did six years and still ended up getting out at a LCPL?

Joe Williams

NH Sparky, this Poser does not say which comm. medal they are. Is it the Navy/Marine Corps comm. . Or is it the Presidental comm?Only 3 mos in Nam.Did he hurt his little self trying to track? The Marines on the amtracs seemed to have the good life. Of course everybody throught that anybody but being a grunt had a easier job. Joe

Anyone know what “White Site YOKO” on his records of assignments might be? I’m guessing it is associated with Yokosuka Naval Hospital, but I can’t find a reference explaining it.

Based on his actions, I’m kinda wondering if that’s not the same as “Floor 13, DDEAMC” at Fort Gordon. But that’s speculation on my part, and it does appear he later returned to duty – so maybe I’m wrong.

2/17 Air Cav

“White Site YOKO” is code for the Beatles’ white album in which Yoko Ono’s shrill sounds were first heard by the public. Or maybe not.

Hack Stone

Which inspired the song “All You Need Is Ear Plugs”.

Pineywoods NCO

37 separate ribbons….

Wow, he’s a legit piece of shit.

Only one award really fits that…

The GTT

Green Thumb TURD.

Scotty

A freaking L/Cpl in Tracs . He’s fat enough to sink one now.

HS Sophomore

Wow. Just wow. Beirut and Grenada, huh? Quite a feat, being in two places at once.

Just An Old Dog

HS Sophmore, The Marines that went to Grenada were actually enroute to Beruit. Grenada was an unexpected stop. It would actually be a red flag if any Marine that claimed Grenada DIDNT do Beruit. But not Vice Versa,

Legans

It says he was at the bombing of the barracks in Beirut (Oct 23, 1983.) That happened two days before the Grenada invasion (Oct 25, 1983.) Echo and Fox of BLT 2-8, along with some Recon bubbas landed on Grenada. H&S BLT 1-8 was in Beirut getting blown up. The guy is full of shit.

Just An Old Dog

True, he could not have been at the bombing and in Grenada. Marine units were in Beruit about for about 18 months Sept 82-Feb 84. Marines that were in Grenada were in Beruit from Nov 1983 to Feb 84

OldSargeUSAR

This douchebag could have been bunk buddies with noted fraud, Bill Blake of Bartlesville, Okla (aka Zippy the Pinhead) who also claims Beirut and Grenada (in his dreams, of course)…

Damn bedwetters…

tm

He borrowed Doc Brown’s Delorean.
Maybe he lit his farts to get the requisite 1.21 Gigawatts, but I’m not sure how he got to 88 MPH…

Hack Stone

He had Blake with him in the HOV Lane.

LIRight

I really hate these people.

Combat Historian

Hey, if haddady the BS BG can bump himself up 18 pay grades from E-3 to O-7, that means I can bump myself up from O-5 to O-18 and become a retired 12-star general; hey, you’ll owe me a bunch of salutes…

Just An Old Dog

That would be one fat ass retirement check.

Green Thumb

General “Maggots and Rice” Fermijon Marrero did.

Bobo

Jonn, it actually looks like the first star on the PH ribbon is silver instead of bronze, so that would be 7 PHs. Also, that Armed Forces Reserve Medal should have at least a bronze hour glass device since he doesn’t have any of the GWOT medals.

NHSparky

EIGHT, Bobo. Original, silver star, and two bronze.

This guy just doesn’t know when to quit.

Hondo

Bobo: regarding the AFRM – not necessarily, if the guy retired before about the mid-1990s.

I consulted an obsolete copy of AR 672-5-1 I have in softcopy (c. 1990). Then and previously, it appears that the first award of the AFRM was made “bare ribbon” – e.g., no hourglass. Hourglasses were awarded for second and subsequent periods of qualifying service.

As I recall, the hourglasses were changed to bronze/silver/gold (denoting 1st/2nd/3rd 10-year period of qualifying service) when the “M” device was instituted in the mid-1990s – 1994, I think.

Prior to that, it was not all that uncommon to see senior officers with Vietnam service (pre-DOPMA) who’d served a good portion of their career as Reserve Officer on active duty – some who had had 10+ years in the USAR. These individuals qualified for and wore the AFRM w/o hourglass. If I recall correctly, David Hackworth was one such individual.

Bobo

You’re right. I had to rewind my memory banks back to 2000 when I had 10 years reserve time. I don’t think that the hour glass for 10 years went on until they approved the M device for mobilizations. IOT distinguish between the guys with just a mobilization and the guys with 10 years and a mobilization, they had the hour glass added at the 10 year mark.

Green Thumb

Phildo’s idol.

OldSargeUSAR

Bill Blake’s butt buddy.

charles w

Wow. He was a Lance General.

LebbenB

Or a Brigadier Corporal, depending on his mood.

ChipNASA

Fat Shithead.

I wouldn’t even let him clean my carpet.

Maddie Kidd

I admit I am slow but isn’t falsifying a government document a felony or something?

FatCircles0311

Fatty Dingdong should know better if he’s claiming multiple valor awards across multiple conflicts his singular combat action ribbon immediately negates the charade.

What a seabag with legs.

Green Thumb

Looks like the Dishonorable Colonel at All-Points Logistics better step up his game.

The General may be competing for that position.

“Commander” Phil Monkress sticks with what he knows.

TheCloser

Unless I’m color blind, he’s claiming six Navy crosses (silver star), six LOMs (silver star), seven Bronze Stars (silver star, bronze star), and eight Purple Hearts (one silver star and two bronze stars).

He’s got Chesty Puller beat and yet this is the first that I’ve heard of him.

Very Curious

Is this the same Joseph Haddad who extorts money from women through romance sites?

Still Curious

Is this guy the same guy that has scammed women through romance sites?

Still Curious

Is this guy the same guy that has scammed women through romance sites? I’m trying to find out more information.

Curious

I guess this guy disappeared?

BS Hunter

No,he has not disappeared. Became more elusive. Still at it in all his glory.
