Friday Morning Feel Good Story
Chief Tango sends us our feel good stories this morning, the first is from McAllen, Texas where a group of rambunctious youths searched a neighborhood for money and drugs;
Police said a group of men stormed the home around 7 p.m. Tuesday. They were allegedly looking for drugs. We’re told when they didn’t find anything, they targeted a second home, which was located behind the first house.
According to investigators, someone inside the second home grabbed one of the gunmen’s weapons and shot two of the intruders. One was killed. The second is now in critical condition at a San Antonio hospital.
Investigators are still searching for the remaining suspects.
According to the Brownsville Herald, the group was six or seven masked men with rifles.
The second story comes from Columbus, Ohio where a man was accosted on his way home and forced to lead the thieves into his home;
After [Michael Singer and Anthony Six] entered the home, they were confronted by the boyfriend of the robbery victim’s sister, who had taken hold of a gun, according to police. The armed man did not fire any shots inside the house, but did shoot at the suspects as he chased them down the street. The children of the robbery victim’s sister were inside the home when the suspects made their entrance, according to their mother, who told ABC 6/FOX 28 she immediately rushed her kids outside when the danger of the situation became apparent.
