RIP, Tyler Doohan – Young Hero
I can’t really say too much about this story; not much needs saying.
Suffice it to say that a young man died too soon – at age 8. After saving several people’s lives at the risk of his own. And while trying to save another.
Details are found here. It’s worth your time to read the story.
Rest in peace, Tyler Doohan – young hero. I’m certain the welcoming committee at the Pearly Gates was one to behold.

I saw this last night and this was one of the few times that I wish I was connected to Facebook right now so I could share the story of this young hero. RIP kid
And now he sits in the Hall of heroes, in Valhalla, where warriors rest until they hear the call again.
@2: Mind you, I think they’d only let the kid drink fruit juice.
So sad. What a man he would have grown up to be!
I live almost 10 minutes from where this occurred. A freind of mine grew up in that trailer park. That boy is truly a hero and my hearts and prayers go out to the family.
God bless and keep him.
The young hero, Tyler Doohan, was laid to rest yesterday after a funeral Mass at St. John of Rochester Catholic Church. Many firemen attended, one of whon carried a helmet with Tyler’s name on it. He was named an Honorary Fireman for saving the lives of six people. The pall bearers were members of a Wisconsin college basketball team (Silver Lake) who read about Tyler and volunteered for the task. It was a sad day here but a joyous one in Heaven.
