Tuesdays with Claymore
Peace is just breaking out all over the place.
Requisite “Merica is Racist” thread. You’re welcome.
Goodwill is a scamity scam scam scam!
Mormons diggin’ on the white privilege.
Whistling past the Benghazi graveyard, and ramping on to the Christie traffic jam.
No one cares about your stick figure family.
Funny, I assumed most DUer’s were into navel gazing.
The left attempts to lecture everyone on the evils of their own tactics being used by others.
Dissent is patriotic but only when Democrats do it. True story.
I didn’t realize they could stack it that high.
Please tell me more about this “feminism” thing, Mr. Pussyboy.
No freedom of speech for right wing bumper sticker guy.
Apparently David Gregory is now a right-wing shill. Nice to know.

The “No freedom of speech….” thread is a scream. In it, some chicklet complains that while her husband (male or female we don’t know) was driving her to the community germ center for treatment of an unspecified virus (too easy), she saw a bumper sticker or two she didn’t like. What’s more, the stickers were affixed to a black Land Rover (Capitalist bastard!) She would like to complain to some gov’t agency but doesn’t know which one. Replies suggest she might go the obscenity route. I tell you, every time I think I have finally found the lowest common denominator, someone comes along and proves me wrong. In this case, about 150 of the replies to Mzzzzzzz. Moron proved me wrong, too. I continue to dream about taking over the country and using certain laws to ID the DU contributors. If this be the intelligentsia, it’s no wonder they are the first targets after a coup or revolution.
I don’t want to be guilty of advertising for DU, but you really do owe it to yourself to read the “sexy” thread…there’s nothing better than watching DUtards tear into one another over butt-hurt jokes at the expense of one of their little protected interest groups.
@2, now I need the Tylenol that started all that… Holy shit. Love the butt hurt, but I got a headache reading it.
@2, I’ll sum it up:
“I am more politcally correct and racially sensitive than you are!”
“Are not!”
“Are too!”
‘Not, not, not, not, not , not….”
Did they really call Mormons a privilaged class? Do they not realize the irony in that? The Mormons went through years of persecution. They might want to Google Haun’s Mill Massacre. The law allowing you to shoot a Mormon in Missouri was on the books until 1976.
@5. And it was repealed for whay reason? (Just kidding)
@6 Well religious cults are a danger to the society at large, even if the cult seems innocuous at first.
I will admit Mormons have a great starting point story, even if it seems a bit far-fetched…hell I’ve known some folks in upstate New York who had visions too….usually they were chemically induced visions, but I digress….it’s really not all that crazy to assume the Good Lord decided in 1820 that one guy in New York should see some visions that allowed him to have more than one woman as a wife….seems perfectly logical to me…
I love the starting point stories for a lot of these religions, Mormons don’t have a lock on crazy starting points by any stretch…
@1 There is a posted response in the freedom of speech thread that’s actually pretty good, in it the writer warns folks that there is a fair amount of propaganda on the DU from those who would oppress all our constitutional safeguards and to avoid those debates.
I agree with that perspective, the bill of rights are not granted us by the government we are born into the world with these rights consequently the government has no business interfering with those rights nor is there any ability to reasonably debate the reduction of those rights in any form. Doing so leads us continually down a path of government oppression. Apologizing for the NSA spying on all of us as a necessity, defending the continued erosion of civil liberty under the Patriot Act all lead to larger and more intrusive government. Freedom isn’t a safe comfortable life with all danger removed, it’s a responsibility to take care of yourself at every level it’s the freedom to succeed or fail without interference. We all know that but many choose safety over freedom on a regular basis even when the safety isn’t real but just a perception…the founders knew life was harsh, that life could be difficult and short. They also knew it was better to have that life free from interference than to be kept as a pet by the government.
Actually my favorite response in the same thread was where someone posted “You have rights under the Constitution. The right not to be offended by something is not among them.” I’d like to buy whoever posted that a beer.
My favorite response was from the chick that said she would assault the person over the bumper sticker.
Stay classy libtards.
From: Mormons diggin’ on the white privilege…
“BYU used shock therapy to turn gay men straight”
Did it work? I’d like to see the stats on that. 😀
“I live in NM and got ticketed in CO for having anti-Bush bumperstickers on my vehicle…”
uh huh, I’m sure that happens ALL the time.
Hi, Claymore!!!
Oh, man! I missed this place so much!!!! Not my fault, though. Norton’s cheap ass virus protection isn’t as good as they crack it up to be, but it’s been replaced, and I’m home again.
What’d I miss?
Ex-PH2, glad to see you back. Lots of posers and scumbags ousted recently; please take your best shots at these douchebags…
So glad to see you back Ex!!!
Boy, do I have a tale to tell you. 😉
