Herb Williamson the secret squirrel Cav dude finally shuts up

| November 29, 2013

Herbie Williamson used to brag about his career to anyone who would listen. He claimed to be a retired colonel with time in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot, but his records only show service in the Connecticut National Guard for a few months then he moved to Maryland and joined their Guard. Now that his records are public, he talks less about it – claiming that he’d have to kill you if he told you, or words to that effect. We first bumped into him a year ago June before a lawsuit against him made his real records public.

MrBill sends us a copy of the San Antonio Express-News subscription-only article with some updates on the little weasel;

Williamson

His lawyer says that Williamson’s records are classified and that’s why he can’t talk about them – but that didn’t stop him from yapping incessantly about his “secret squirrel” career before. We’ve never heard that before, have we?

I don’t know if this will work or not, but try this link to download the entire article in .xps format.

So are his records officially sealed as being “secret but not so secret that the man in question can’t brag about them to anyone who listens”? Jaysus, who does that lawyer think he’s fooling?

ChipNASA

He’s right up there with Panama Shame Lardass.

3/17 air cav

We cav guys gave a saying. “if you ain’t cave you ain’t shit” Well, he ain’t cav.

I have that black Stetson sitting on my “I love me wall. I wear it once in a while around my property. Never out in public. You don’t wear that hat unless you earned. He didn’t earn it. Pissed me off when this story first broke, pisses me off now. There is a lot of troopers who earned that hat that didn’t make it back home. This asshole pisses all over them by his false claims.

Sparks

“My records are classified and sealed”. My how original! We haven’t heard that one before. A private with sealed records as a Colonel, Vietnam helicopter pilot. I wonder if his attorney knows the real truth but is just doing his job, defending his client? Not that attorney’s as a group don’t have a lot of brass when it comes to defense but this one is taking a lot on the faith of his client’s word. Absent any “secret documents”, to prove his client’s story.

ChipNASA

@4 Sparks,
I wonder if Shame and Col Fuckstick here have the same lawyer?

A Proud Infidel

Another one keeps riding his lies. Just like what Don Shipley said in a news interview, “Most of these guys will take their lies with them to the grave.” And this dog turd is a fine example!

Marine_7002

Time for the obligatory Google-fu hit: Herbert Clarke Williamson III, 63 years old, Kerrville, Texas

There!

I wonder if he was ever held accountable for lying during a deposition (see the TAH blog entry Jonn mentions above).

Ex-PH2

Anyone tell the attorney his client is a lying asshole and might not pay him for his services?

NHSparky

My fave is the “when the litigation is over” crap. Uh, I’m guessing his “lawer” hasn’t mentioned the concept of discovery to him yet, eh?

Smitty

2/17 Air Cav

Spurs up his ass and shit in his Stetson. That’s all I got.

CC Senor

Saw this in yesterday’s paper. Yesterday’s article was more about a case between former partners, but a lot of the SV facts were published in this earlier article:

CC Senor

Forgot to add that the only Herbert Williamson listed as a DFC recipient was a Marine that appears to have one for both WWII and Korea.

JarHead Pat

Just another wanna b turd,he needs his ass kicked really fucking bad.I didn’t know there were so many black op missions in SVN,You would think they would have learned by now.

MrBill

@12 – yup, really the only thing new here is that Williamson has reneged on his promise that he’d come forward with more information on his military career once the lawsuit was over.

Green Thumb

Clown.

COL Sanders and now COL Williamson.

I still have no biscuit w/ my order.

Ex-PH2

How about someone who knows where he is and knows he’s a lying SOS walk up to him, tell him he’s a lying attention whore and if he starts to argue, smack him silly.

Crimean War Protestor, aka A Proud Infidel

I have cut farts with more valor than he has had in his entire life!!!

Hondo

My first cat had more valor than this lying a-hole. And that cat was afraid of his own shadow.

Hack.Stone

So, as a top secret wire dog, is he well versed in the old “Hold the wire on this TA-1” trick? I have a suspicion that he held that wire one time too many.

Hondo

Hack.Stone: if this lying a-hole actually thinks people will believe his latest BS, he may be stupid enough to have fallen for the old “dare ya to take a whiz on that wire”. (smile)

Ptolemy in Egypt

Maggot.

CC Senor

@21 Don’t know about that, Hondo, but I did learn that it isn’t a good idea to strip commo wire with your teeth.

This is probably him quoted in a 1970 newspaper article from “The Canyon News” in Texas. Seems the POS has been lying for quite a while. If you have a subscription you can see the photo of him that looks as if he’s 15 years old. http://www.newspapers.com/newspage/49218894/ Thursday, April 30, 1970 Page 7 Viet Veteran Trained In Asia For Career The training ground for most careers in college. For Herbert Williamson’s career it was Vietnam. Williamson, a veteran of two tours in Vietnam, plans to be a career Army officer. And it is toward that aim he has been working since graduating from high school. He went to Viet nam as an enlisted man to gain experience he could call upon as an officer. He believes an army in for combat. And, that’s apparently what he wants to do. Williamson is currently a junior student in the Reserve Officer Training Corps at West Texas State University. He hopes to receive a commission as a second lieutenant by May of 1971. Williamson started college in 1964 at the University of Texas at El Paso. While at UTEP, he was in ROTC. Right after graduating from high school, Williamson joined the National Guard, but he remained in the Guard only two years. Then, in June of 1965, he joined the Army and was assigned to infantry. It was where he wanted to be. As soon as he could, he signed up for a tour to Vietnam. He stayed there 12 months as a security guard. After rotation back to the States, he signed up for another tour, this time as an instructor to Republic of Vietnam troops. Williamson’s joining with the Army, his tours in Vietnam–all were designed to add to his planned career. When he was at UTEP, he said, he planned to join the Army just to learn what he might need to know later as an officer. But, this wasn’t the only reason he wanted to go to Vietnam “It was intersting,” he said. “You make more money, it is something to do and I didn’t want to stay… Read more »

By his rules, apparently it is AOK for any of us to pretend that our dreams from 1970 actually occurred?

In that case, I obtained a few gold medals in Munich representing the good old USA. (Does it matter that I never really trained for it, or was on the US team?) Then I continued to serve the US team as a trainer and following a medical degree, served as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, specifically Olympic sports.

Oh, wait. It didn’t happen, and I really never even thought about doing any of that. Well, I thought about attending the Olympics in Munich. That’s the same thing, right?

Combat Historian

“My records are classified and sealed”…WOW! I have never heard of that before; can they really do that???!!!

Hack.Stone

All of my records were sealed. They were sealed in cellophane. That was when I purchased them from Sam Goody’s. Then I would take my records home, remove them from the cellophane, and drop that wax on the turntable. ROCK & ROLL!!!

Veritas Omnia Vincit

I’m surprised that none of you remember the large number of SF pilots recruited from the enlisted ranks of the CT ARNG during the 70s….the Army had done some research and discovered that communications wiremen made the best Night Stalker pilot program candidates….

After the colonel here bumped his head he thought he was Fred Williamson for a couple of years before his memory came back and remembered being Col. Williamson….aka lying sack of sh1t….

OWB

If only he actually HAS shut up. See, that is what most of us really want from these clowns. Just. Stop. Lying.

It would seem that keeping the mouth closed would be the easiest course of action. Well, after removing the foot.

Pappy C

As a former Cav trooper myself, this really chaps my hide. I never got the opportunity to go on a spur ride, so I never earned my Stetson and Silver Spurs. Although I deployed with my Regiment immediately after 9/11 and received Hostile Fire Pay and Imminent Danger Pay, and although we were at FPCON DELTA it wasn’t *in combat*, so I never earned my Gold Spurs. Subsequently I got a line of duty med sep prior to our deployment to Iraq. Under no circumstances would I *EVER* wear, buy or intimate that I own a Stetson or spurs. Folks need to be proud of their service and not cheapen themselves and the Fallen by lying about this sort of thing. Just don’t get it…*shakes head*

3/17 air cav

@30……..Pappy, phonies who were that Stetson are looking for two things. Attention and credibility. I have that Stetson and I cherish it. In saying that, the only place I wear it, is when I walk around my property. Do I enjoy wearing it? You bet. All wearing it out in public does is draw attention. I’m not looking for that. Am I proud I served with the 3/17 Air Cav? The answer is yes. Do I crave or need the attention? The answer is no.
