Hillary got bin Laden now
Several folks have sent us links to the Atlanta Journal Constitution which reports hearsay on a speech that Hillary Clinton gave to the National Association of Convenience and Fuel Retailing (NACS). During her paid speaking engagement, Clinton was asked about her role in the decision to get bin Laden and according to someone who was there, she spent 25 minutes answering that question, taking credit along with Leon Panetta for taking down the terror leader while Joe Bite Me opposed the action;
No ears reported any mention of whatever 2016 ambitions Clinton might have. But state Rep. Tom Taylor, R-Dunwoody, said the former first lady dropped a huge hint. “I know she’s running for president now, because toward the end, she was asked about the Osama bin Laden raid. She took 25 minutes to answer,” Taylor said. “Without turning the knife too deeply, she put it to [Vice President Joe] Biden.”
Time and time again, Taylor said, Clinton mentioned the vice president’s opposition to the raid, while characterizing herself and Leon Panetta, then director of the Central Intelligence Agency, as the action’s most fierce advocates.
So yeah, we’re going to get another round of elections in 2016 in which the candidates take credit for the bin Laden raid, completely discounting the role that the US military played. Ho-hum.

By the time 2016 gets here, the story of Bin Laden’s demise will consist solely of members of the Obama Administration going in on those choppers (that they flew) and doing the deed themselves. Bunch of over reaching douchenozzles.

This should help illustrate just what the ruling elite think about their role in the world. The military, including the special forces who were on this bin Laden raid, is a tool to be wielded by the true powermongers. Like a hammer they use it when they feel like it, but they feel no particular allegiance to the tool. It’s the wielder who matters not the tool being used, that’s true whether the tool is the military, the economic strength of the middle and working classes, or the gross revenue of the nation.
The sooner the electorate comes to grips with that attitude, the sooner the electorate might actually pull its’ collective head out of its’ asses and start using the power of the vote to effect an actual change, not just a feel good pretend change.
I wouldn’t expect any less from the hero of Bosnia…….
She does have combat experience, after all she did dodge sniper fire.

That’s a tough call, but I think Clinton wins it on account of covering more lies than Warren. Warren is the plagiarizing fake native american, but Clinton? Starting with Whitewater, the multiple affairs, the first health care debacle….yeah that’s probably not as tough a call as I thought.

The raid would have been unnecssary if she had pressed her husband to take care of the problem after the first world trade center bombing, the embassy bombings or the USS Cole bombing. Just saying.
