Monday feel good story

| October 7, 2013

Eggs sends us today’s feel good story from Phoenix when an armed security guard comes home at about 10 o’clock at night to find an uninvited someone turning their life around in his home;

He confronted the 22-year-old suspected burglar as he came out of a bedroom and shot him.

The wounded man was taken to a hospital where he died. His name hasn’t been released.

Martos says the homeowner hasn’t been charged but the case will likely be sent to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office for a review.

I know after awhile these stories get old, but it’s not the individual stories which are news, it’s the number of times that a homeowner defends himself or his family with a firearm in this country and it goes unnoticed by the drive-by media. And you know that these incidents are only the tip of the iceberg of folks defending themselves.

Please keep them coming. It is important that there be a consolidated record of the frequency of the Armed Citizenry defending themselves from criminals.

A lack of comments does not imply a lack of importance.

A majority of the time, just having a weapon prevents anything further from happening without firing a shot. You better believe the mainstream media under-reports that because it goes against the administrations “guns promote violence” meme.

Agree with number 1- The liberals always talk about dangerous guns and how they only hurt – this is another great tool in the debate with those idiots.

I know you have a 10 story a day limit – maybe if you have too many you could start another tab…

They don’t get old, for the exact reason you state. Whenever I get my hunting magazine from the NRA, the first section I read is the Armed Citizen section.

Not getting old, Jonn. Agree with previous comments.

Keep ’em coming, Brother!
