Iran refuses to meet with President

| September 24, 2013

The Washington Times reports that Iran rejected the White House offer to stage a meeting between President Obama and new Iranian President Hasan Rouhani because Iran considered the meeting “too complicated” at this point;

The offer was not, the administration said, for a formal bilateral U.S.-Iran meeting, but rather a conversation “on the margins” between the two men.

“I think the takeaway is that the Iranians, number one, have an internal dynamic that they have to manage. And the relationship with the United States is clearly quite different than the relationship that Iran has with other Western countries, even,” a senior administration official said. “Again, I will underscore part of the reason we were able to get international sanctions is because the United States demonstrated that we were willing to engage.

Yeah, I think it’s because a meeting with The Great Satan would undermine the Iranians’ desire to destroy us. Obama mentioned in comments this morning that he wants to accept at face value the Iranian president’s statements last week that Iran would never build nuclear weapons – well, that’s just ridiculous, and dangerous. It’s as if we have college students running our foreign policy. The war over the last twelve years has been a proxy war with Iran, but seein’s how they have John Kerry on the job, I’m sure there won’t be anything to worry about.

HA! This is a payback for when Bush refused to meet with LakaLakaDemajhad. And he fell for it hook, line, and sinker. How come every one else saw this coming?

The Iranian islamofascist regime has been at war with us since 1979, and they’re not about to change now.

A Proud Infidel

Putin played B. Hussein 0bama like a cheap throwaway fiddle, now the Iranians will do the same. Come 2016, B. Hussein 0bama will have been passed around like a 5 cent hooker on payday!!

Can’t say as I blame Rhoumani, myself. I wouldn’t meet with bodaprez, either, even if he brought brownies and ice cream.

His self-perception includes this mistaken notion he still has that he actually has any influence on anything.

Not.

“It’s as if we have college students running our foreign policy”. As if? sKerry and Obama prove it every day.
But, sKerry is going to sign the UN Small Arms Treaty, regardless that it won’t pass the Senate. That’ll make every thing better.

How does one say in Persian:

I fart in your general direction.

No President since the American Hostage Crisis in Iran in 1979 has asked or offered a meeting. Then when it is offered it is refused here in this country. President is looking weaker everyday and he is being around like the only copy of Penthouse magazine on a ship.

OWB

It really is a shame that he has succeeded in his goal of weakening the US. Too bad that so many Americans have gone along willingly.

I saw this article, and I started giggling a little bit.

No one is interested enough to spend a few minutse, never mind an hour, listening to Slick Willy’s sales pitch on obamacare. Syria (real world) took precedence over national health care (fantasy world) for some odd reason. And then I realized the reason was simple: no one has much interest in what what slick Willy has to say. And bodaprez — why, he can’t get anyone to listen to those sales pitches of his very much these days, anyway.

Barry just doesn’t understand how the rest of the world works, especially the radical part. After all, he still isn’t convinced the war we’ve fought since 2001 is about terrorism and the radical Muslim belief there should be a caliphate.

And the USA becomes less and less important on the world stage.

Hmm…. Angela Merkel has just received a complete majority of her party in the German elections this week. She looks more and more like a world leader with a lot of influence in her part of the world. And Vlad Putin is better at pulling off political ploys than bodaprez, lookin’ good on the world stage, also.

No surprises here any more.

Normally, these things are worked out beforehand by the Dept of State and the ‘invitation’ and acceptance is just a dog and pony show. But Howdy Doody or, if you prefer, Alfred E. Newman evidently decided he was going to take the initiative. Iran, meanswhile, told him to go ahead and start without them. Pathetic.

Iran refuses to meet with President Obama, the President of the most powerful nation on earth????

I am SHOCKED, just SHOCKED I tell ya!!!!

Geez, didn’t the liberal 4sswipes who hated Bush for lessening our reputation in the world talk about how everyone would bow down to Obama due to his massive intellect and superior foreign policy skills?

So does this mean the liberal 4sswipes will finally admit that their guy doesn’t know jack sh1t about foreign policy, and never did? That his lack of experience in any executive capacity prior to his election left him unprepared to implement his own health care initiative never mind complicated foreign policy chess games against better chess players?

The problem with Obama and Bush is that neither of them were or are dealing with the nations whose WMDs are actually a threat to regional stability in the middle east and elsewhere. Both men chose to offer options that are will change nothing over the long term and neither of these men had any f#cking clue how to play out the end game in any location where they put US troops in harms way.

Wasting lives, money and initiative seems a trademark of civilian use of the military for some time…

VOV–I’m still waiting for the libtards to come in here and spout off about how the world will love us now that “cowboy Bush” isn’t in office anymore.

You guys should see some of the college students I am around.

Foreign Policy? Please. Some on them actually think Obama planned the Syrian outcome. No shit! So do some of the Berkley-Liberal faculty.

If they would shake the indoctrination and think for themselves instead of trying to please the faculty or others, maybe.

But that is not the case. And this is coming from me, a Constructivist at heart.

Eric

It is Berkley, you expect anything different Green?

If it were Kim Jong Il (Democrat) vs Abraham Lincoln (Republican) for President, they’d still fight tooth and nail and then vote for Kim Jong Il because he isn’t one of those “evil” Republicans. And spin his actions into a positive light somehow…
