Egypt’s war against jihadists continues
The Associated Press reports that the Egyptian Army has raided two jihadist strongholds in recent days;
Police arrested 32 suspects in house-to-house raids in Kerdasa, according to a security official speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief reporters. The interior ministry said Farrag was killed by gunmen firing from the rooftops of several schools and mosques they had taken over.
Thursday’s assault on Kerdasa is the second major operation by the army and police against a militant stronghold. On Sunday, a large police and army contingent retook the town of Dalga south of Cairo, ending two months of Islamists’ rule there.
The quick succession of the two major raids underline the resolve of the military-backed government to restore law and order throughout a country roiled by unrest and violence since the 2011 ouster of longtime autocrat Hosni Mubarak.

“There will be no retreat [from Kerdasa] until it is cleansed of all terrorist and criminal hideouts,” [Interior Ministry spokesman Gen. Hani Abdel-Latif] said in a statement.
This is the best news to come out of the entire region in a while.

Speaking of Egypt:

Excerpt:
“Before emerging as a top Brotherhood official and adviser to Morsi, el-Haddadserved for five years as a top official at the Clinton Foundation, a nonprofit group founded by former President Bill Clinton.
El-Haddad gained a reputation for pushing the Muslim Brotherhood’s Islamist agenda in the foreign press, where he was often quoted defending the Brotherhood’s crackdown on civil liberties in Egypt.
He was raised in a family of prominent Brotherhood supporters and became the public face of the Islamist organization soon after leaving his post at the Clinton Foundation.
However, much of his official work with the Brotherhood took place while he was still claiming to be employed by the Clinton Foundation.
“It was only a matter of time before Gehad el-Haddad was arrested,” Egypt expert Eric Trager told the Washington Free Beacon. “Many of the other Muslim Brotherhood spokesmen have been apprehended, and in addition to decapitating the organization, the military-backed government has been specifically targeting the Brotherhood’s media wing, including by shutting down its T.V. stations at the time of Morsi’s ouster on July 3.”
“It has also gone after those connected to Morsi’s presidential office, and Gehad’s father is Morsi adviser and Muslim Brotherhood Guidance Office member Essam el-Haddad,” noted Trager, a next generation fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP).
El-Haddad’s father was a top foreign policy adviser for Morsi until both were apprehended by Egyptian security personnel.”
Well we are now arming them in Syria so at least someone out there is fighting against the enemy….
True, an example being GEN Sisi’s men detaining Dr. Aymen Al Zawahiri’s little brother Muhammad:

“Mohamed Al-Zawahiri, the brother of Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri, and high-ranking leader of militant group Al-Jihadeya Al-Salafeya (The Salafi Jihad) was arrested in Giza on Saturday, reported state-owned Al-Ahram.
Al-Zawahiri was caught while attempting to pass through a police checkpoint when security officials identified him.”
In case you don’t know why he’s important, he’s the dude who orchestrated last year’s demonstration that led to our embassy in Cairo being overrun-and his associates (check out the Nasir City Al Qaida cell) were involved in the Benghazi attack…
Info on the Nasir City cell: http://www.longwarjournal.org/archives/2012/10/al_qaeda-linked_jiha.php Excerpt: “Mohammed al Zawahiri is shown at the embassy rally during the Al Faroq video. In fact, Mohammed al Zawahiri admittedly helped stage the Cairo protest. “We called for the peaceful protest joined by different Islamic factions including the [Egyptian] Islamic Jihad (and the) Hazem Abu Ismael movement,” Zawahiri has explained, according to CNN. During his appearance in the video, according to SITE’s translation, Mohammed al Zawahiri calls for the makers of the film “Innocence of Muslims” to be prosecuted and “demand(s) the questioning of all of those and to stop that film that is calling for trouble.” Mohammed al Zawahiri has been coy about his al Qaeda ties. For instance, during an interview on Egyptian television earlier this month he tried to distance himself from the al Qaeda organization, while admitting that he adheres to the group’s ideology. “I do not belong to al Qaeda or any other organization, but ideologically speaking, I am in agreement with all these organizations,” Zawahiri said, according to a translation by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). “Our common denominator is the Islamic sharia,” Zawahiri continued, reiterating that he agrees with al Qaeda’s “ideology, but I’m not involved in its activity.” On other occasions, Mohammed al Zawahiri has used the word “we” when speaking about al Qaeda and has attempted to justify the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The Wall Street Journal has reported that US intelligence officials think Mohammed al Zawahiri put one of the suspects responsible for the terrorist attack in Benghazi in touch with his brother. The Journal’s sources identified “fighters” tied to Muhammad Jamal Abu Ahmad, an EIJ member who was released from prison last year, as participants in the Benghazi attack. Abu Ahmad “has long ties” to Ayman al Zawahiri, the Journal reported, and he “has petitioned” al Qaeda’s emir “for permission to launch an al Qaeda affiliate and has secured financing from al Qaeda’s Yemeni wing.” Ahmad “is building his own terror group, say Western officials, who call it the Jamal Network,” according to the Journal. EIJ members are… Read more »

Excerpt:
“A Libyan militant suspected by Egypt of involvement in last month’s attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya has been killed during a raid by Egyptian security forces in Cairo, a security official said on Thursday.
The Libyan was killed on Wednesday in a raid targeting him and other militants with suspected links to al Qaeda in Cairo’s eastern district of Nasr City, the official said. Four Egyptian militants were detained in the operation, he added.
The Libyan, identified as Karim Ahmed Essam el-Azizi, was killed by a bomb he had tried to use against the security forces during the raid, the security official said.
It was not immediately clear what role Azizi had played in the assault on the U.S. consulate in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi on September 11, in which the ambassador, Chris Stevens, and three other Americans were killed.”
It just gets nastier and nastier, doesn’t it?
And Clinton’s name is on that center. I knew there was more than one reason I detest him as much as I do.
You really gotta ask yourself just how the hell a Muslim Brotherhood official got hired by the Clintons. The really disturbing thing about all this is the level of access this guy probably had to Hillary Clinton while she was Secretary of State. I’m not trying to make the article into a “political” thing, but this is some truly serious shit we’re talking about here considering the Brotherhood being a terrorist organization responsible for the assassination of a world leader (Anwar Sadat) and violent takeover of Libya, Egypt and Tunisia. The interesting part about this is the fact that the Washington Times is covering it. This isn’t some conspiracy bullshit like Infowars, this is the Times. Says quite a bit imho. BTW, Hadad and his family are not only connected to Morsi (being advisers and all), he also tends to hang around the same circles as Morsi’s former “Envoy to the West,” Muhammad Al Zawahiri and his Nasir City associates like Sheik Shehato. Personally, I hope GEN Sisi’s guys start removing digits, then take the jumper cables to his testicles…
“This is the best news to come out of the entire region in a while.”…Yup, let’s hope it continues.
big fan of Gen. Sisi.
Delga is also the largest consolidation of christians in the country. nearly 30% of the population is christian, but apparently the mean christians that are so evil arent violent enough to fight back against the peace loving muslims.
Sometimes a good cleansing is the only thing that will get the job done properly….
Regarding the Clintons, no surprise that two lying ruling elite sh1tsacks hired another lying sh1tsack with connections to terror….any tool to get the job done, that’s how Hillary was raised and that’s how she’s conducted herself ever since she was a child.
Let’s hope Sisi continues to fight the good fight.
Obama must be loving this…
I’m a little slow today. Can someone point out where the Clintons hired a Muslim Brotherhood member, and in what context?
Never mind. Just saw Post #1.
