Today’s IRS Scandal Update

| May 17, 2013

From news reports over the last 24 hours or so:

That’s it for today.  “Move along, folks; nothing to see here.”

Yeah, right.  This is getting so bad that even Chrissy-poo Mathews’ leg is apparently no longer all tingly.

But at least one individual has found an IMO completely apropos symbolic response to the IRS’s high-handed and potentially unlawful conduct.  (Suggestive, but probably OK for work – unless you work for the IRS.) (smile)

The Chris ‘Water Boy’ Matthews link leads to some interesting comments by him. It’s as if he awoke from a 4-year long nap and realized he had been dreaming all along. No matter. He still sucks.

What does it say for the intelligence or at least willingness to face facts when it takes the sycophants in the media FIVE FUCKING YEARS to wake up and realize what most of America has known all along?

I’m interested in seeing what gets discovered next, I think we’ve only scratched the surface of this, and it’s only one of very many muck piles!!

Where’s joe to explain all of this to us? I know sippy can’t anymore, so it falls on him. There’s got to be some “nuance” we’re overlooking that makes this behavior perfectly legal and reasonable.

Maybe this is Valerie Jarretts promise of payback “if you’re not with us you’re against us and it’s time for payback”…..made by an annonymous source and spread like wildfire.

Well, obamaman did use drugs when he was younger (Of course, I have no evidence that he stopped using drugs.) That might explain his rank immaturity and inability to accept responsibility.

New front opening up. Congress critters are reopening an investigation into the GM dealer closures. Also handled by the Treasury Department and also seems to have disproportionally affected conservatives. As in 100%.

Curiouser and curiouser, as Alice said.

Oh, yeah, my sister did confirm that she has never ever been audited before this year, which is after her trip to Israel.

I have personally experienced correlation to this. Out of an interest, because I knew that this was a grass roots movement and wanted to see its beginnings, I went to the Tax Day Tea Party here in Tucson on APR 15,2009, joined the Tucson group on FB, and blogged about my experience. When I had seen and heard all I was interested in knowing, and I agreed with a lot of their ideas, I left the group because it was more of a social observation than a political one. In JUN 2010 we were personally audited by the IRS and after paying our tax accountant, we netted a $12 dollar refund.

Interesting picture, has bearing on the discussion.

Sarah Hall Ingram should be prosecuted. Our rules are very, very clear.

@11 To the frickin’ hilt Valerie. People need to do hard time for this, making little ones out of big ones.
