But I’m Feeling MUCH Better now…
Folks – if this is satire and I missed it PLEASE don’t hold my ignorance against TAH. I didn’t make the effort to verify the validity because it simply seems valid. If it ain’t real it DOES at least rise to the level of what Might Be given the current state of affairs, AND you just might be be as querulous as I.
DOJ Looking to Saudi Arabia for Counter-Terrorism Measures: Too Many Americans are Violent
This comes from Mohammad Alshoaiby writing for the Saudi Gazette on the occasion of a Holder visit in Riyadh. In normal times, I wouldn’t give a thought to it, but we’re talking about Eric Holder, so the “Saudi Munasaha (Counseling)” is likely of great interest to our current government. Far too many of America’s “young people” are violent and so Saudi Arabia, the country that has chosen to switch from beheadings to firing squads because they have a shortage of swordsmen, can teach us how to un-indoctrinate our youth…or maybe this is about TeaParty terrorists.
Even paranoids have enemies.
ETA: US shows interest in Saudi counter-terrorism program
It IS true!
Category: "Teh Stoopid", Dumbass Bullshit, Geezer Alert!
Please God, say this is a joke…
Still waiting on the murder charges for Eric Holder, after Fast and Furious blunder…
This entire administration is a sick joke.
well, I guess my nightmares will be of a different nature now; wtf…
Are you kidding me?!?!?!?!? That asshole actually said that?!?!?!?
This justifies satire of Eric Holder.
Just one question. Well, possibly many questions. Is this asswipe planning correctional measures that include public executions?
When are these people going back to their own planet?????????
WTF’ing Holy Hell!!!They want advice from one of the most brutal security apparatuses in the world? A place I am certain a few people have had layovers on their way to GITMO so that they could enjoy the most excellent justice of the Royal Family…..
This is just nuts
That sound you hear is me beating my head against the desk until I get tired of the squishy sounds.
I get it he is only talking about their efforts to “reform” extremist… still, I am not so sure forced reeducation is a road we want to go down, even for our most violent gang bangers.
Funny how this administration is starting to seek judicial advice from beyond our own borders, and emulating a regime that is known for human rights violations, while we still have something called the Constitution and Declaration of Independence that seems to have been working – at least up until now.
It’s Bush’s fault.
Sadly it is true … and far worse than it is playing out in the MSM …
Here we go: seven men were executed by the Saudi government after a trial in which they had no legal representation or recourse to appeal.

They were convicted on the grounds of confessions obtained under torture.
Note that the original sentences called for death by firing squad and crucifixion. How very Roman of the Saudis. Crucifixion is a long, slow and painful way to die. The person crucified slowly suffocates. Ask Jesus how it felt.
