Your weekly post about Hasan’s beard
Yes, mass murderer Nidal Hasan is still clinging to the beard that he cultivated so well under the Army’s supervision while he was incarcerated. It’s been three years since his murderous rampage against unarmed soldiers and pregnant women and here we are still talking about his facial hair. From the Associated Press;
Maj. Nidal Hasan’s defense attorneys filed two appeals with the Army Court of Criminal Appeals this week. They say the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act allows Hasan to keep his beard during trial.
Hasan says he grew a beard because his Muslim faith requires it.
The government has until Sept. 28 to file a response. The appeals court has postponed Hasan’s murder trial until further notice.
The link goes to Huffington Post, and surprisingly, the denizens of that lefty website all seem to support forcibly shaving the dingus. I guess, in some respects, the terrorists can influence us to cross party lines so we can make life hard for them.

Until he’s severed from the service he is bound by the UCMJ. Hold him down, shave him and go on with the trial. Let them file a protest AFTER he’s been executed.
Still wondering why he wasn’t shot and killed the day he committed the crimes…like Saddam Hussein’s capture…like the capture of Himler..I wonder why these clearly guilty animals are even taken alive (Bin Laden being the anomaly only because the WH did not have a direct say in the firing of rounds thank goodness). I think our society’s false sense of civility will ultimately be the cause of our slow and lingering demise.
All’ya’all going about this backwards.
Shoot him NOW, THEN shave him, before dumping his filthy carcass in an unmarked hole in the middle of nowhere.
Oh, and don’t forget the Four Esses to the shyster defense lawyers as well. And if they have beards, shave them, too.
Refresher Course, The Four Esses:
Supressor
Shoot
Shovel
Silence
Effectively immediately my BEARD SHAVING PROJECT is cancelled.
I have three alternate options in play now:
1. Handcuff Hasan behind his back. Tell him that if he can shave himself with his feet, he can go free.
2. Assemble all the surviving children of his victims that are under the age of 6, issue them a Navy Exchange disposal razor, and let them gang shave him. Scratch that – they have been through enough.
3. Send me down south, with a straight razor, I have time on my hands, and I can articulate my actions.
Discharge the mother fucker, send him to the civilian greybar to await trial because murder is still murder and see how long he lasts…
#6 I wouldn’t trust a civilian court to make sure he assumes room temperature at the end of it all.
He is still a serving officer and thus subject to the Army’s grooming and uniform standards.
If he won’t submit to those standards, he should be forced to submit to those standards by whatever means are necessary.
Stop the foolishness and get on with the trial.
NOW!
This assininity has nothing to do with civility. And I really don’t care whether he has a beard or not. Delaying over a minor infraction? (Beard vs multiple murders?) Ya gotta be kidding!
Sure, I get that since someone in their infinite “wisdom” decided that he is still a member of the military that he is supposed to comply with all the rules. Well, he established an unwillingness to do so long before he committed murder. So, by deciding at this late date that the Army is going to enforce the rules what exactly is accomplished? To whose benefit?
It’s a little late for that. Very weird priority.
Instead of wasting time on this, just charge him with failing to meet grooming standards and pile it on top of everything else. I know it sounds petty but it will stop the delaying tactic, which is I am sure the plan of the defense weenies.
Hogwash!
If the beard is so important to him, why wasn’t he growing one before he went rabid and started shooting people?

He had to pretend he was a strac soldier…so he could eventually kill his comrades in the name of Allah.
Frankly, I think Ex-PH2 is right. Sounds more like an “epiphany of convenience” to me.
@13 Agreed, now the endgame is in play and it’s occured to Hasan that being a martyr isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. He want to delay the inevitable march to his doom.
Let him know we will shave him with pig based lard lubricant while he’s strapped to the table just before we inject him….he can go to hell.
Too bad hanging, and firing squad are out of play.
Sadly, the Ft. Hood shooting spree was considered a crime of workplace violence and not terrorism as it should have been. The judge has already held him in contempt for the beard issue which is being parlayed in the courts, which is clearly a joke. Shave him from head to toe and get on with the trial, and leave all the religious nonsense out of it. He was within standards when he went on his spree, is still subject to the UCMJ, and should be held to the standard that everyone else is instead of appeasing to the radical Muslim nonsense and belief he is now claiming.
This simply exemplifies what cowardly dogs muslims are! He was willing to murder unarmed, unassuming soldiers but is afraid to become a martyr for his toilet bowl god, allah? F€ck him right square in his goat raping a$$!
