F&F supervisors promoted
ROS sends a link to the LA Times which announces the promotion of three Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives supervisors of the famous Fast & Furious operation which successfully armed Mexican drug cartel thugs with more than two thousand guns from US gun dealers.
All three have been heavily criticized for pushing the program forward even as it became apparent that it was out of control. At least 2,000 guns were lost and many turned up at crime scenes in Mexico and two at the killing of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Arizona.
Ya know, where I work, they don’t generally promote people who make decisions that are contrary to the laws of our country and do injury to the safety and security of the American people. So, when people like this who are found to be involved with what are generally considered to be lapses of good judgement, are promoted, a casual observer an probably assume that this was the desired outcome of the operation. I’m just sayin’…
Category: Barack Obama/Joe Biden, Guns
They might also be promoted so as to provide further distance (shielding) between them and potential (likely) Congressional subpoenas.
Bingo.
Just further proof positive that the bureaucracy has expanded exponentially beyond rational.
What a lot of good folks don’t know is, law enforcement agencies all over the country and in other parts of the world are filled with dumbass admin, poge desk jockies. The kind of pukes who when they worked in the field, were never very good at fighting crime, but good at kissing ass. They usually have perfect haira and spend more time looking good than actually knowing the job.
If we could get rid of even 50% of these useless dumbass types, the world would be a much better place.
Corruption is usually something that makes people upwardly mobile in corrupt regimes. In all eventuality, most of this is going to come to light, and those responsible will pay dearly for it. That is the hope anyway.
If they were promoted instead of fired, there’s a reason.
Stay tuned, folks! This show ain’t over.
Fuck up, move up. It’s the government way.
$5 says when the media finally stops covering for Barry, it’ll come out to be a very corrupt and nepotistic regime.
@#4. Exactly, the ones who couldn’t find a coffee shop with a map and a spotlight. Unless it was to turn in a fellow officer for staying 3 minutes over on his break or meal.
I had the displeasure of lockering across from a guy accused of cowardice, by several of his fellow officers. His punishment? Promote him and move him up and out of the unit, and inside. His ultimate reward? He moved to a neighboring department, as chief.
I think this is a case of promote them to keep them quiet. How high do they have to be in said agency until they become protected by executive privilege?
Its from August?
#8 Doc,
The LSM will NEVER stop covering for Obeyme and the Lefturds.

These folks were promoted to put them in a position to go after anyone who might snitch. They have a vested interest in insuring their workforce is absolutely loyal, or risk having their personal information leaked to the cartels.
