I’m a lazy itnerant hippie, so you can’t go to work, either

| November 17, 2011

Yes, the Occupy Wall Street hippie shits are ratcheting up their anti-social behavior today by preventing people with jobs from getting to work in New York City. A link to the Daily News from Old Trooper;

“I’ve got to get to work today or I’m going to lose my job,” a man in a suit screamed at one NYPD officer. The cop shrugged his shoulders in reply.

About 50 demonstrators were arrested as the mobile protest turned the typical morning rush hour into chaos.

CBS News reports that police in Berkeley raided their Occupy encampmant;

Police in riot gear conducted a raid on the encampment around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, removing about 20 tents and arresting two protesters. Television footage showed a bulldozer moving into the area after the raid.

I don’t understand their logic of moving the people out of the tents before bringing in the bulldozers, but maybe that’s just me.

They’d just better not get in my way as I go to school tonight.

‘Nuff said.

Someone needs to remind these nitwits that the 1 percent don’t need to go to work–at least not in their minds. Traffic and idiots protesting–that only affects the “little people”, Occupoopers.

DaveO

A man in a business suit on Wall Street calls his boss on his crackberry, letting him/her know why said Suit is late. One does not scream at a cop, begging to be arrested and bringing the Suit’s employer’s into disrepute.

Just sayin’

Bubblehead Ray

That’s right Dave. I’ve also read accounts of the Occuturds donning suits and attempting to infiltrate Wall Street. Sounds like a frustrated Occuturd to me.

Susan

Dave O – that is what one does if one has already had one’s first cup of coffee. If not, well the frustration of being delayed yet again may just eminate. I agree that one should not yell at the cop, but instead one should shout one’s feelings about smelly ditry occupiers at said same.

CI Roller Dude

My guess is that most of those going to the OWS protest, don’t have jobs…and in many cases never had jobs…so they don’t understand the concept of “I have to go to work.”

DaveO

Susan, agreed. Thinking the Suit is an OWS in disguise trying to ride the cops into letting him infiltrate. Easy enough to check his suit: if its expensive enough, he’s an OWSer.

DaveO

Will TAH host an OWS tourney like it did for Jesse Macbeth’s heirs?

Worst hippies, worst vids, most diseases in an encampment?

Doc Bailey

DaveO that might be amusing, but in reality they kinda all blend together.

FOMSG

Then, after the bulldozers come through, we could hold the Rachel Corrie Memorial Pancake Breakfast.

I just saw the funniest report from Jon Stewart’s show about these idiots. I love the guy who when asked about lending his IPad2 to others said it is personal property; he is against private property not personal property. I think perhaps he should contact the occupy lawyer before he says such stupidity again.

@8 and @9. I’m with Doc on that, DaveO. You really can’t distinguish one from another, not in a meaningful way, at least. It would be akin to having a turd contest. Sure, the entries would be differing shapes and sizes. Sure some would have nuts and corn but, in the end, they’re all nothing but turds.

DaveO

#14 AirCav: not to taper too fine a point, but the same argument can be made for the Macbethian participants. Sure, some are SEALs and some are Special Forces and they all wear 75th Ranger Cavalry Battalion patches with Master Blaster Communications Squadron wings, but they’re all still turds.

FOMSG–they already did that one once. Stupid hippies didn’t even let that one dawn on them…

They finally figured it out, but only after everyone was laughing their asses off at them.

@15. DaveO–I’ll try to squeeze out a response to your finer points in the morning. Quite frankly, I tend to do my best work in the a.m.; by evening, I tend to be mentally constipated.
