VetVoice opposes Hermann Cain

| November 17, 2011

Yes, I’m surprised, too, that VoteVets opposes a Republican presidential candidate since they’ve supported one Republican in their entire history which proves to them they’re nonpartisan. But it was their last line in dicksmith’s latest screed against the man he calls “The Pizza President”;

So everyone, if you want to vote for the know-nothing President, Herm is your man. Personally, I’d rather have a Commander-in-Chief that can actually find things on a map and have an iota of knowledge about the most important foreign policy issues of our day.

That’s funny, because in the last election VoteVets supported a man who didn’t know that there were only 50 states. A guy who thinks that Hawaii, his home state, is in Asia. A guy who thinks “Austrian” is a language. A guy who thought he was in St Louis while he was in Kansas City. A guy who saw “an unbroken line of fallen heroes” in the audience. A guy who counted ten thousand people who died in a tornado that killed twelve people.

But, yeah, don’t vote for the guy who wants to get his foreign policy from the commanders on the ground instead vote for the guy who formulates his foreign policy from an opinion poll.

Oh yeah, don’t forget that he called the Marine Corps the Marine Corpse.

And he also recalled meeting an already dead MOH recipient at Fort Drum.

CI Roller Dude

I’d vote for Colin Powell! He has his shit togeather and I think he can be trusted…that’s why he’s not running.

Doc Bailey

color me (no pun intended) surprised. It is a shame to all Veterans Everywhere that these yahoos, who are both anti-semetic, and about as coherent as a cholera induced bowel movement, are allowed to spew this drivel while claiming to be the voice of Veterans.

It is clear that they are the biggest bunch of Blue Falcons that ever existed. If there is one among them that has done more than be a TOCroach I will be amazed.

UpNorth

Roller Dude, seriously? October 19, 2008, Colin Powell said he was voting for Obama. Powell noted Obama’s “steadiness and an intellectual curiosity,” and he also cited the Biden VP pick versus McCain’s selection of Palin. “[Obama] has a definitive way of doing business that will do us well.”
From NBC News.

Geez, what a bunch of dingle-berries…

“A guy who thinks “Austrian” is a language.”

Everyone knows Austrian isn’t a language….Cuban on the other hand…..

Hey you all know that Herman Cain didn’t join the military…
while he was working for the Department of the Navy. He didn’t get drafted or anything he just didn’t join…while he worked for the Department of the Navy. Good think Ed Schultz was dig that up, maybe thats why “vets voice” isn’t supporting him.

I’ll get behind whoever wins the nomination but, until then, please God don’t let it be Mitt the Ken Doll. Herman sounds too preachy. He needs to get with the conversational tone. Perry screwed himself quite unpleasantly. Bachman or Bachmann talks in sound bites. Newt is too smart for his own good. Before Barack Hussein Obama, I would have said that no one would vote for a Newt. I don’t even want to mention the alien. As a matter of fact, the more I think about it, the more they suck–as a group. Good thing the day is 12 months off. Where’s Ms. Palin?

CI

@9 – “As a matter of fact, the more I think about it, the more they suck–as a group.”

Couldn’t agree more

“Where’s Ms. Palin?”

Right where she should be.

DaveO

#9 She’s working the down-ticket campaigns. Having a GOP POTUS is useless when you can’t get a budget through the House and/or Senate. And, the next Senate will approve 2-3 Supreme Court Justices. She can still enter at any time and win the Presidency.

It’s almost worth Obama getting reelected if it ensures taking control of the SCOTUS away from the Progressives and permits control of the spending apparatus of government.

UpNorth

Exactly Dave, we don’t need any more wise Latinas, or pint-sized “brains” on the SCOTUS.

JustPlainJason

God no Newt…I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. All I know is this is the Republican election to lose.

Doc Bailey

JPJ you do know Obama raised almost half a billion dollars in 2008. How much you wanna bet there will be about that much thrown into it this time?
