West vs. Wassermann
I know you’ve all read about the email that Allen West sent to Debbie Wasserman-Schultz after Wasserman or Schultz or whatever personally attacked West on the floor of the House of Representatives and mischaracterized his stance on his elderly constituents. In response, West sent this email (from The Hill);
“Let me make myself perfectly clear, you want a personal fight, I am happy to oblige,” West wrote. “You are the most vile, unprofessional ,and despicable member of the US House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up. Focus on your own congressional district!”
And he wasn’t done.
“From this time forward, understand that I shall defend myself forthright against your heinous characterless behavior,” West added. “You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, shall not be afforded due respect from me!”
See, he was pretty mild – I’d have thrown in a few “you c…”. Anyway, yesterday on Fox Business News, West said he isn’t going to apologize;
…there are certain ways we talk in the military. I guess I haven’t learned the DC-insider talk.
Meaning all of that “my esteemed colleague” bullshit is just that. Well, of course, everyone is calling him a misogynist for daring to talk to a vaginal-American and calling her a liar. Even Dan Choi, the last person on the planet who should be talking about acceptable military conduct weighed in on Twitter (thanks to Brady);
Like Choi would recognize “what a true soldier” would do in any situation.
Yeah, I don’t think that Wasserman should hide her inability to mention the truth behind her sex. West didn’t say anything in that email that would indicate that he hates women in general. All of the girls should pull their claws back in and recognize that Wasserman or Schultz or whatever is just a vile person, no matter what she has between her legs. And if someone like Dan Choi is defending you, you must’ve done something wrong.

Two very common errors on Capitol Hill.
The first is that they refer to each other as “the gentleman from …” or “the gentle lady from ….”
The second is that they actually believe that $hit.
Wasserman-Schultz is pond scum politician. She, and the other bottom feeding slime in the Democratic Caucus, are all involved in constant character assignation of anyone, and everyone, who does not support their socialist agenda.
To quote the late Mo Udall “the difference between a caucus and a cactus is that a cactus has the pricks on the outside.”
I really, REALLY hope and pray he runs for President. In 2012. First, we NEED a man like him to stop this downhill in 5th gear slide we’re on and second, it would be beyond hilarious to see him lay waste to Obama in debates.
I’d just like to have a couple hundred more folk like Colonel West in the House & Senate.

Slightly off topic, but I thought that only those who retired and not separated from the military were allowed to still use their rank in certain cases? If so, then why is choi still using “Lt?”
I think the politicos will now attempt to bury West, and use the MSM to do it. They can’t handle that strength of character anymore…if they ever could.

In the history of Congressional dialog, going back to January of 1981, West’s bark at Wasserman-Schultz is absolutely among the most tame statements that exist. You want vile? Check out Senators Pat Leahy and Chuck Schumer. It was a great, great day for civil discourse when VP Cheney told Leahy to f*ck off.

There’s an article making the rounds this morning about a training fatality at West Point. A New Cadet was found dead on the land nav course. Heat injury is the most likely cause of death.
As bad as this is, if you read the article on Yahoo news, guess who shows up in the Related Article photos? You guessed it, Dan is there in an article COMPLETELY UNRELATED to West Point. Apparently Dan threw a batchlorette party for one of his girlfriends and some idiot found that newsworthy. There’s a picture of Dan and two…women… Playing dress-up with some of his old toys that he has no more respect for.

I have lived in South Florida for 51 of my almost 67 yrs. I support Allen West every chance I can and I don’t live in his District. Congressman Allen West does not need to apologize to Congress Critter Wasserman Shultz period. He tells it the way it is, which I am finding most Democrats and Liberals can’t handle, they can’t handle the truth! Congresswoman Wasserman Shultz stood on the House Floor and lied about a Bill that Congressman West supports. A Bill that she apparently had not read or knew nothing about, she is deserving of every comment Congressman West made. The MSN is only concerned about the drama, not the truth as evident in the way they are covering this. Below is the Body of a letter I submitted to The Miami Herald and the South Florida Sun Sentinel’s editorial letters page. I know it won’t get printed but what the heck. “While there may have been a better way (but I doubt it) for Congressman West’s to respond to Congresswoman Shultz remarks she made on the House Floor I cannot blame him for and support his every word. Congresswoman Shultz comments were directed at Congressman West for supporting a Bill (Cap, Cut and Balance) that she says or thinks will take monies away from Medicare and hurt seniors. The thing that everyone seems to be missing here is that the Bill does no such thing, Medicare, Social Security, and Veterans are exempt from the spending cuts, as worded in the Bill. So Congresswoman Shultz comments were untrue, or made in ignorance depending on if she read the Bill or not. And as of the last few years and the track record of Congress I would say that many voted on the Bill without reading it. First, let me say I have a congressman crush on LTC. West. That said, in this day and age saying that a professional woman is not a lady is generally considered a little condescending. In fact, I can honestly say that anyone other than my mother or father discussing whether my behavior was “lady like” would really piss me off. I think that line was really not necessary. Other than that, I had no problem with what he said.
So Dan Choi’s the new Miss Manners on Twitter these days, eh?
She wasn’t being a lady. Would people be complaining if Wasserman-Schlutz was instead a man, said the same exact thing, and West had said he wasn’t a gentleman, and so would not be afforded the same treatment a gentleman would deserve? I doubt it… There needs to be a little bit more of what Congressman West did/said, not less….
Remember Diane Fiienstien saying “don’t call me ma’am, I worked hard to become a senator”. instead of jumping on West, why has no one asked why women in this day in age show so little Lady-like demeanor.
And if you really want equality among the sexes, one of the time honored traditions of being a Man is being “called out”. To have someone challenge your word, honor, or both. How you answer the challenge depends on societal norms but answer you must, not cry about how unfair it is.
You reep what you sow. And I for one can’t wait to see Rep West give a verbal beat down to WS. I think being humbled from time to time is generally a GOOD thing.
Actually that was Barbara Boxer not Dianne Feinstein. But they both seem to about equally antimilitary.

Wasserman-Shultz is an empty vessal, plain and simple. I think she is/was head of the congressional democratic caucus, typical liberal boilerploint nonsense.
Frankly I’m more stunned that West would respond to this incident at all. What she was saying was not out of character for the Democratic caucus in the house and from her actually quite mild, even if it was directed at him. She has said far worst in the past and I’m postive will again in the future.
The parry of misogyny should not be unexpected, its the only card she has.
