Hasan may face death penalty

| March 4, 2011

The convening authority in the case against Fort Hood terrorist Nidal Hasan has recommended that he face the death penalty according to the Stars & Stripes;

The Army psychiatrist accused of killing 13 people and wounding 32 at Fort Hood, Texas, is more likely to face the death penalty now that the convening authority in the case has recommended that he go before a general court-martial authorized to consider capital punishment, Fort Hood public affairs officials announced on Friday.

If anyone in the last ten years of fighting terrorists deserves the death penalty, Hasan is probably it. I don’t like the death penalty, but Hasan certainly deserves it. In fact, he deserves a very long and painful death. But then I might waive my distaste for the death penalty for the officers that allowed him to stay in the Army.

The only thing I don’t like about the death penalty for Hasan is that it’ll probably take the Army twenty years to kill him. Anwar al-Awlaki will probably die from a Reaper-induced enema before Hasan gets his.

Firing squad volunteer here. But first I want to cut his balls off and knee cap him.

OldCavLt

What my Infantry bro said.

+1

Then wrap his reasonous, murderous ass up in a pig skin with a bag of pork rinds.

OldSoldier54

After he’s found guilty, take him back to Ft Hood. Issue baseball bats to all the soldiers in the units of those he murdered, then let him run a gauntlet in the fine old Roman Legions meaning of the term. Then kick his worthless remains out the back of a pickup somewhere nice and remote in Texas and let the coyotes have it.

As for the worthless officers who let this happen, they’ll get theirs … in due season.

Just Plain Jason

I don’t think there would be a problem findining volunteers for a firing squad..

Doc Bailey

Its a shame the DA cops didn’t apply two to the chest one to the head, but even so, I’m perfectly comfortable if he has to deal with crippling injuries for the rest for his life.

In agreement with 1stCavRVN and definitely disagreeing with OS54. Texas has more than its fair share of *trash* in remote area’s…But my ideal would be, let the troopers and surviving families this shitbag shot and killed or wounded have at him on a range (arty comes to mind).

CI Roller Dude

How about making him Serve in some place like Baghdad. Give him a Red Ryder wagon full of Bibles and live pigs, drop him off on the east side and tell him to run all the way to BIOP airport….
OH, and paint American flags on the wagon…and tie it to his wrist so he can’t let go……and pour bacon grease all over his body…

and video tape it.

If he makes it alive, then take him back to Ft Hood and play baseball with him.

@ #7 – Roller Dude? Remind me to neva piss you off, okie dokie? rofl!

Private (then-SGT) Hasan Akbar, convicted of murdering two officers in 2003, prior to OIF’s kickoff, has been waiting on death row of the FLKS Disciplinary Barracks for the results of his automatic appeal.

Hanging joes takes a long, long time. I think it’s so the condemned feels it a mercy to die.

Notice that no one on the left’s giving Akbar the Manning-treatment, or even gazillionth of the concern for the welfare of Mumia. Maybe if he’d killed a cop he’d’ve gotten more love, or least union membership.

Miss Ladybug

Don’t forget: dude’s already paralyzed…

streetsweeper

Don’t forget the wounded are wounded and have suffered needlessly because of the DoA’s *stupidy* LB…Screw him. Send him down range let the troops have him.

OldCavLt

I don’t forget that scum is paralyzed. I’d even blow him away while he’s in the sitting position… no need to stand him up to a pole.

Doc Bailey

sorry. But for all this I don’t give a flying. His reward in the afterlife ain’t going to be 72 virgins. I think it would be far better to give him the “blind Shake” treatment. Keep his ass in solitary for the rest of his natural life. And really the “death penalty” ain’t what it used to be. no more swift and speedy trial for this progressive plagued country. and dear god PLEASE no Diane Soywer interviews till we’re all blue in the fucking face. GET IT THE F**K OVER WITH

I may be over-optimistic, but I’m a believer in the tech-singularity. I hope and expect that medical technology will improve a lot over the next 20 years.

If so, Nidal Hasan may be walking around on the two legs of his rejuvenated body when the time finally comes to end his life. That could make him regret his jihadi ways even more.

Old Trooper

OldCavLt and streetsweeper: I think what LB was getting at is that with Hasan being paralyzed, he won’t feel his nut sack being removed or the rearrangement of his kneecaps. I believe that LB is saying that something needs to be done that he feels with a whole lot of pain applied.

I would agree with that.
