Duff and Ventura; Cheney blew up the Pentagon
It was only a matter of time before Gordon Duff glommed on to prime time crack pot Jesse Ventura and his conspiacy theories. Here’s his 43 minute television program in which he comes out as a 9-11 truther, i watched about ten minutes of it – it was all that I could take of Ventura’s persona. He’s an entertainer, not an investigator;
Notice that Ventura, in his opening statement, says “I was governor. I was a Navy SEAL….” Ventura wasn’t a SEAL, he was in a Underwater Demolition Team that became a SEAL team after he left the Navy. According to Wikipedia, Ventura served in Vietnam, but that he didn’t earn the Navy’s Combat Action Ribbon, so you really have to wonder why he would use that as one of his life experiences to give him credibility. But then, Duff’s Vietnam’s experience was much the same as Ventura’s.
Ventura proves, beyond any doubt that no airplane every hit the Pentagon. As the video shows, not even a highly trained airline pilot was capable of the maneuvers claimed. Long before, it had been proven that the 757 was incapable of the task, either the maneuvers or the speed and trajectory. The plane would have come apart, there is no disagreement with this and hasn’t been for some time, yet nothing had been done. Why?
Um, wouldn’t the Democrats expose the Republican administration if there was real evidence that Dick Cheney fired the missile which hit the Pentagon?
The real crime here is that Ventura has that scraggly-ass ponytail on the back of his bald head. People still do that? I mean, I know it’s the uniform in VFP, but other people still do it?

I watch his show, occasionally, for purely entertainment value. I love when the camera shows his face and he has that “deer in the headlights” look cookin. It happens about 25 times per episode. I didn’t watch the latest truther show, but I do like to watch when I need a laugh.
I can’t stand Jesse…”The SEAL” Venposer. I’d like to know the real “truth” about his Vietnam Service. I love my brother. He was a Navy Spook…CT. He has a Vietnam Service Medal but never set foot in Vietnam. He was off shore on spy ships like the Pueblo, off the North Vietnamese Coast. He has problems saying he is a Vietnam Vet even though I tell him he is. Then you Jesse….just what is the truth behind this fraud? Did Jesse the Poser explain what happened to all the people on the flight that didn’t hit the Pentagon? I can’t stand that asshole! If I sound angry, I am.

Ventura was a member of the Underwater Demolition Team. Not a SEAL – that designation begin in 1983 well after Ventura left service. When he was governor, his office confirmed that Ventura was never a SEAL. Not that being a UDT was a walk in the park by any stretch of the imagination.

I read that. I’m just wondering why a bio on bio.com – which is supposedly accurate – would say such. It’s obviously erroneous, but where did they get that info and why is Ventura himself promulgating those lies?

Truthers are divorced from reality. One of my fb friends posted a link to some video (which I didn’t take the time to watch) in which John Schneider questions the “official” story about 9/11 because the New York, New York resort in Las Vegas doesn’t have the Twin Towers in the skyline. Isn’t that a play on the song from the musical Sinatra made famous, “On The Town”, which is set in the 1940s – decades before those towers were built? Another of her fb friends was commenting – after I said something about Occam’s Razor… “You shouldn’t trust the government”. “here’s a link to the debunking of the Popular Mechanics 9/11 conspiracy debunking”. Those people can’t be reasoned with…
The only time I thought Ventura didn’t strike me as an ass was in Predator. But we all know that there is no way in hell he could actually USE the mini gun the way its shown.
As for this “Truther” crap. . . obviously they’ve not seen many airplane crashes. Look at UA 585, AA 191, the Concorde Crash, KLM 4805 wasn’t even at v2 and look at the damage there. Lets make this real clear JET FUEL IN AN ENCLOSED SPACE IS A BOMB. Also Aluminum, while great at room temperature, does not fare well in high temperature, or high stress. Throw a soda can in the camp fire sometime. Give it five mins and it will be paper thin. Crush a can and it is pretty easy. It may now seem like a great analogy, but when you crash at landing speeds, I think max speed is 180, for most aircraft. Thats when most crashes happen. take off and landing. The Souix city crash (UA 232) is a great example of a plane going at low speed being utterly DESTROYED.
What really sickens me is the idea that anyone would fake goodbye calls to the family. It is beyond sick to try to argue that someone (Betty Ong for example) spent their final moments lying their ass off (because if you follow the logical conclusion they are now dead by government hands). I can deal with these idiots in small doses but they constantly point out minutiae, that is easily explainable as proof of a far ranging conspiracy. lets think here, whats more likely a large shadowy group that controls everything secretly bombing the shit out of our own buildings to declare war on a country that has dick in the way of resources, or that a bunch of pissed off Muslims hijacked some planes, planed to make a statement but had no idea just how well it work?
I tried to watch this masterpiece of BS but could only make 10 minutes of it. Some guy in LA “over heard” NORAD’s stand down, some little twit in a restaurant says..”I didn’t see a plane. It sounded like a bomb.” Yeah, I’m sure she’s an expert on bomb explosions. Wonder what sound she thinks a huge jet makes when it slams into a building and explodes.

I know I’m preaching to the choir here but when does someone call Janos out for what he is? I’ve got no problem with his UDT credentials, but 100 parachute jumps in Vietnam? Where, why? Who that served with him will colaborate these stories?
I agree that this is a slap in the face, major slap in the face to all the families that lost someone at the Pentagon either on the plane or in the building itself. I got to first hand treat the wife of the General who was killed there and hear her cry when she explained how much these truthers hurt her and dishonor the memory of her husband and all the other victims of this most horrible crime. My blood boils.

Veep Cheney is also suspected of torpedoing the Titanic. After all, how can ice break steel? And notice all the missing lifeboats? Obviously a Halliburton scheme to increase lifeboat sales across the merchant fleet…
