Tony Snow is gone
I met Tony Snow briefly outside of the Capitol City Brewery soon after I started working here in DC. We stopped and chatted – mostly I gushed. He was friendly and patient even though I’d cut into his lunch time.
I always thought he was the hardest working Conservative in this city. I remember there were days he’d sit in for Rush Limbaugh for three hours, then do an hour or so on the old Chris Core show, a local talk show and then he’d be sitting in for Brit Hume on the Special Report on the Fox News Channel.
I miss him already.
More at Michelle Malkin.
He will be missed. A true gentleman and patriot.
I loved Tony Snow on FNC and as press secretary. He will truly be missed. Prayers for his family.
When he was 17, his mother died from colon cancer; the same disease he bravely fought.
He was a great news analyst, commentator, journalist, and tenacious patriot.
He will be missed.
Rest in peace, Tony.
Funny how you feel close to some people you never met. I feel as if a close friend died, but Tony Snow would not have known me from Adam. I was simply a fan, and Tony’s demenor, intelligent discorse, and gentle humor served to create a sense of familiarity that made me feel as if he was a guy I had just sat down and had a beer with. I mourn his passing, and my prayers go to his family.
LOL! You people are pathetic. Tony Snow was a whore for the worst, most criminal “administration” in U.S. history–he was nothing but a mouthpiece for scumbags who deserve what he got, and worse. I’m glad he’s dead, and I hope he suffered. He’s probably hanging out in hell with Lee Atwater right now, chatting about how “misunderstood” they were while they were alive. And don’t try to pull any of this “You should watch someone die of cancer before you criticize” bullshit, because I have–I watched my mother and mother-in-law both die of cancer, and my wife and sister-in-law have both been treated for cancer. Tony Snow was a scumbag, and he’s lucky he left the planet while he did, because he may have managed to avoid the problems that other Bush neocons are going to face in the coming years. COUNT ON IT, TRAITORS.

Jonn, you amaze me. You are more tolerant than Gary deserves. I allow dissent at my teeny tiny place, but it has to be respectful. Freedom of speech has a better friend in you than in me.

Gary is very “keyboard brave”. Perhaps he could get work with the Westboro Baptist Church.
Jonn wrote: Funny you should mention them. Nice Deb says they plan to picket Snow’s funeral. That puts Gary (and his two comiserators who were deleted along with Gary’s second comment) in the same class.
