Mojave Cross thief (?) writes to paper

| May 14, 2010

A person purporting to be the person who stole the Mojave Desert cross wrote to to a local newspaper explaining the crime the other day. Some highlights;

1. The cross in question was not vandalized. It was simply moved. This was done lovingly and with great care.

2. The cross has been carefully preserved. It has not been destroyed as many have assumed.

3. I am a Veteran.

6. Anthony Kennedy desecrated and marginalized the memory and sacrifice of all those non-Christians that died in WWI when he wrote: ‘Here one Latin cross in the desert evokes far more than religion. It evokes thousands of small crosses in foreign fields marking the graves of Americans who fell in battles — battles whose tragedies are compounded if the fallen are forgotten.’ The irony and tragedy of that statement is unique.

7. Justice Kennedy’s words in particular and others like them from the other Justices caused me to act.

So I guess we’ve reverted to a vigilante system of justice now. If we don’t like a law, we’re free to violate the entire justice to make things the way we want. First, I doubt the clown is a veteran, unless he’s like a Robert Dennen or Jim Starowitz, and he didn’t do it alone – which makes me doubt this is even the person who took the cross.

I wonder if this doofus takes down crosses along the side of the road remembering the victims (or perpetrators) of car crashes. The crosses are clearly religious markers and on government property.

Yeah, a ‘veteran’ just like that kos turd is a ‘veteran’.

If we’re all vigilantes, maybe some of the big boys can hunt this mutt down and jump up and down on his balls a few times. Lovingly.

If the writer of that letter is a veteran, then I’m Rambo, Audie Murphy, John Paul Jones, and Chesty Puller all rolled into one.

You’re the shit, Sparky, my hat’s off to you. 🙂 Although you left out Gen. Moore. Remember, Sam Elliot told Mel Gibson “Sir, Custer was a pussy; you’re not”

OT–in all fairness, I should have put in General Curtis LeMay, in order to ensure equal representation of all services, but maybe Col. Wat Du Phuck was NVA Air Force?

I thought Matthis was in Cali crapping in high school students heads…..

According to the thief’s logic, I can steal a man’s wife if I feel she married the wrong man. Now, if I could just convince her she did.

Sparky,
Don’t forget Quick Draw Mc Graw!!!

So, by this “veteran’s” logic, it’s okay to, oh, I dunno, vandalize abortion clinics if we’re really sincere about it and it’s done “lovingly and with great care”?

I mean, since Supreme Court ruling are more like suggestions, really…
