An apology
It’s not very often I make mistakes on our phony soldiers, but I did, and I admit to them. Earlier this month, I wrote about a guy who was pretending to be a Tea Party leader, Dale Robertson. When we got his records, it was clear that he wasn’t the Navy officer he claimed.
Last night, we received more records from Records Center and it seems he was indeed a Navy officer;
This doesn’t mitigate Robertson’s behavior at Tea Parties, but I apologize for publishing his records without all of the information.

People who seek the truth are not afraid of their mistakes.
The same is true for people of honor, integrity, a sense of duty…
Ohh wait that seems that the Army’s core values
Loyalty
Duty
Respect
Self-less service
Honesty
Integrity
Personal Courage.
Or, Leadership as the acronym implies.
Keep up the good work.
Personnal Courage.
Good job Jonn, on making the correction. Although, he still sounds like an egocentric wanker.
“Good job Jonn, on making the correction. Although, he still sounds like an egocentric wanker.”
Good God, he IS a Navy Officer…
[…] This Ain’t Hell made a correction to this story. Robertson served as an officer in the Navy. Comments […]
I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before all of the people who talked shit about this guy on the prior post come and acknowledge the truth, right?
Oh yes Jesse, I’m sorry he is an officer douche and not a faker douche you happy?
Mistakes happen all the time, no big deal. Actually, question: what does it take to amend a DD-214? I served in Iraq, but this is not written in my documents… AND… Also, I was awarded the ARCOM from 13th COSCOM, which is not displayed due to faulty communication during OIF (but I’ve retained a copy for my own record).
I’m personally offended by your pseudo apologies. I’m not arrogant or egocentric. I would gladly not say a word if we had honorable people before us. It has been the attorney, politician or profiteers that have assaulted me. They are able to rant, but no one ever holds the accuser accountable. Why do deceivers receive a pass? I would ask that we set aside the things that misguide us to the efforts to unite and restore the Constitution. I’ve stated from the beginning we should have term limits. However, seats of power would convence us they will be our champion.
It is clear to all that I have more years as an enlisted man than as an officer. I serve honorably and retired. I defended this movement from the politician and now we either unite to remove them or be sidetracked by their lies.
Well, thanks for settling the question of whether or not you’re a douchenozzle once and for all, “sir.”
Sigh…
NHSparky, have you NO couth??
Not when it comes to self-important bloviating assholes. Let the record show I’ve never been one to suffer fools or idiots gladly. Jonn has known me on various boards for over seven years now and will attest to that.
Well, NHSparky, I don’t know why you jumped to that particular conclusion based on Tea Party Founder’s response.
“The Capitol cops look a little bored despite the thousands.”
I have been to most of the DC protests and have asked the police several times about us. Most of the time I get an answer like the last officer gave me, “I don’t have a problem with you guys.”
