Great selection once again.

Here’s a list of people on a leash for big pharma, and how much they sold their souls for. Not a Dr. on the list

Now ya gotta go to 21.

Or just prepay next time.

Some of the local gas stations resemble wal mart and I don’t want to count that high nor interact with someone who is still wearing pajamas 0at 2 in the afternoon.

fm2176

About the only vehicles I top off these days are the larger diesel trucks at my work. A lot of my coworkers are lazy and just wait until the first cutoff. I take pride in getting the tank as full as possible. I squeezed 40 gallons in one last week. Our Ford Transit-based trucks can’t get topped off. I personally own a Transit Connect. It too means business when the pump cuts off. Try squeezing the trigger for just another .01 gallon and you’re likely to have gas spill out of the filler tube. I guess it’s the design, neither Transit model has a gas cap. My long-gone Sierra could get topped off, but it would usually pop a code soon after. I never topped it off, but on a trip with my brother one time, he treated it like we were still filling up a Malaise-era car at $0.85/gal in the early ’90s. He crammed an extra gallon or so in the tank, and a week or two later I was looking up the code. So, those GMT800s (’99-’06, + ’07 “Classics”) had a redesigned Evaporative Emissions Control Purge Canister for the pickups that cost about $70 for the part. Dealerships were charging upwards of $500 for the repair. I found something on GM-Trucks.com about ordering the part for a 2005 Suburban, at around $15. It was the same as the OEM part for my ’06 Sierra, but if I inquired about the “correct” part for my truck, the SKU for the new canister would pop up at nearly 5x the price. I replaced that part probably three times total. Last I drove it, the truck had nearly 320k miles, with no check engine light or OBD codes. I know, all that in response to a meme. 😀 I miss my truck; I had plans to keep it for posterity and eventually swap in a crate motor and new transmission and transfer case. The methheads in VA took it to a junkyard; after reassuring us it was fine to be stored while my sister’s fiancé’s estate was being handled.… Read more »

Odie

Square body ls swap. Anything will fit in them from inline 6 to diesel. And parts are readily available locally or through mail order. You could probably build a nice truck in less than 3 yrs and not have a payment.

fm2176

Exactly. Mine wasn’t the square body (GMT400 was the last kinda squarish–mine was a bit rounded but before every 1/2 ton truck was bigger than a heavy duty truck from the ’70s). I think it was Summit that had a 450hp 5.3l for under $4k, though. I figured that the entire drivetrain and suspension might have set me back a bit over $12k. The body had no major damage, just a few dings and nicks, and the frame was in great condition. It’s a moot point now. I plan to get something older that I can play around with–wish I still had that ’78 F-250 or even the ’78 K5 Blazer I had 25 years ago.

I went to J.C. Whitney and priced out everything for the F-250 about 13 years ago. It was well under $1k for floor pans, body panels, a sliding rear window (mine was solid), dash cover, gas tank, and more.

So, here’s a meme about then Pvt. Guy Louis Gabaldon, a Marine who was awarded the Navy Cross for his antics on Saipan.

He was fluent in Japanese and the first night he was on Saipan, he was out capturing a few Japanese soldiers when he was supposed to be on guard duty. His commanding officer threatened him with court martial if he did it again and stuck him with another night on watch.

He did it again. This time, he captured even more than the night before. His commanding officer wisely just let him do his own thing after that.

This is related and absolutely disgusting and evil. There is absolutely no doubt the left wants to kill us all and here’s the proof: some of them are advocating killing Erika Kirk and her children:

Haven’t watched that yet, though it keeps popping up in my feed. Salty Cracker is a bit over the top, but if I’m not mistaken, he’s one of who knows how many conservative–or at least anti-woke–“influencers” who used to be left of center. Styxhexenhammer is another, he voted for Obama, and Count Dankula even has a Communist tattoo from his younger days. I seem to recall an old saying about young liberals versus old conservatives… It’s plain to see that Kirk’s assassination has brought out the most vitriolic of people in droves. Doubtlessly, there will be more than a few soon-to-be former libs who take up a more Kirk-like banner in the future after watching their peers’ true nature come out.

The level of hatred coming from the Left is unmatched by anything I can think of. We’re the Nazi’s, though. We might not celebrate the deaths of most of our enemies (I’m sure there are exceptions for the likes of Fonda and such), and for the most part we don’t assassinate those we don’t agree with, but yeah, the Right is basically the Fourth Reich.

Celebrating a murder committed on live video feeds is bad enough. Trying to tarnish Charlie Kirk’s image, even in death, by labeling him a Fascist and saying that he deserved what he got is equally as bad. Wishing the same for the man’s wife and especially young children is beyond fiendish and ghoulish.

At the very least, employers (including the military) are taking notice and terminating these mentally ill social media addicts.

SFC D

Fascism simply defined. Sounds very democrat. Not democratic. Democrat.

Amateur Historian

Nice reddit watermark, murder supporter (i.e. reddit is not a reliable source for authenticity).

Who here wants to bet that that image is fake, Ai generated, or an old photo from before the assassination?

SFC D

Authenticity is irrelevant, as is accuracy. The narrative must be supported.

5JC

Authentic, shathentic. Remember a few days ago when Commissary was saying he was a Trump supporter?

All you have to do is photo shop a shirt on and wham, bam he is a Trump supporter! From the left, facts are landmines to be avoided at all costs, death to their argument.

192
SFC D

His family is reported to be conservative republicans, therefore, he’s a conservative republican MAGA supporter. Yeahhhh, how’d that narrative work for ya, libs?

Amateur Historian

Works about as well as the line: “He’s a Trump supporter who’s boinking a tranny.”

Amateur Historian

Also, before you start harping on me for using history memes from reddit, lemme point out:

1. They’re memes.

2. I ignore the memes that have an untrue liberal slant.

3. The memes I do use I find to be particularly true/funny. And even if they are not true, but are funny, I provide proper context in my posts.

Any reddit content outside of that I consider complete garbage.

Spread your hate, all over the place idiots are loosing their jobs livelihoods etcetra but here you are spreading hate and evil for a man shot just for debating, shame on those giving you a stage.

A Terminal Lance Coolie

Considering Charlie was the guy who gave everyone a platform, the admins here are doing his wishes far more than you are.

I’m afraid you have become that which you hate.

SgtM

So we should give a platform to every veteran that posts here? They just murderd free speech . So if a veteran who is a pedophile comes here and argues his point, rapist, guys who want to marry kids etc. when is enough enough. If I want to see pure hate I can go look for it. Not on a forum I respect. I feel sorry for those that advocate for the murder of someone who just debated people, and are given a voice that should be silenced where they are against the vast majority, hopefully we do not support cold blooded murder. There are plenty of hate forums that support that.I come here because I thought it was like minded and was against what they did to Charlie last week. Plus my sign in name said I wanted to fuck little children when I tried to login. Something got hacked.

OAM

We need to continue to allow, even encourage, those with opposing views. Part of the respect for this site is the opportunity to enjoy seeing others take-downs of the lunatics.

I cannot and will not support silencing others by not allowing them to speak, no matter what they say. That is what there is more than enough of in this day age. That is a weapon of the Left I will not advocate using against them.

As Justice Kennedy wrote in the decision taking down the first iteration of the Stolen Valor act, the remedy for speech that is false is more speech.

Thank you for your support from the Rainbow Coalition. The Kirk family recognizes and acknowledged their statement of responsibility for the campaign of lies spread by their members about Charlie Kirk statements and appreciates the donation of millions of dollars to Turning Point. It seems we have peace at last.

Obviously, you are no student of history; otherwise, you would recognize your own flag and understand the meme you posted is more of a reflection of leftist ideas than conservative ones.

If you were, you’d know that despite its military control of the South after the Civil War, the North failed to address Southern culture during Reconstruction and after.

This inaction, coupled with the resurgence of Democratic power in Washington D.C., enabled the South to implement Jim Crow laws (practically keeping former slaves in slave status, denying them rights, etc.,), and cultivate a pervasive pro-Confederate culture—through art, literature, social customs, and political violence (by organizing the KKK whose purpose was to assassinate or intimidate black and white Republican officials, or use violence to prevent people from voting)—despite the Confederacy’s defeat and its commitment to ideals antithetical to American values.
