School shooting at Catholic school leaves three, including suspect, dead
A shooter opened fire at a Catholic school in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Wednesday morning. Three including the shooter are dead; approximately 20 individuals were injured. Some reports indicate that the shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, but additional information is needed to verify this. Kids from an adjacent school were attending mass at the time. Emergency dispatchers called for a Mass Casualty Response.

Emergency dispatchers requested a Mass Casualty Response, with additional paramedics and resources rushing to the scene. KARE 11 reported that sources confirmed the unfolding situation and said multiple crews were en route.
The incident follows an especially violent 24 hours in Minneapolis. Three people were killed and at least eight others wounded in three separate shootings from Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday morning.
Hours before the church attack, a man was fatally shot near Hennepin Avenue and Eighth Street downtown, marking the city’s third fatal shooting in just 13 hours. Police said another man injured in that shooting was later dropped off at a hospital and is expected to survive.
“The level of gun violence across the city within the last day is deeply unsettling,” Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara wrote in a press release. “Across three separate multiple-victim shootings, eight people have been injured by gunfire and three have lost their lives.
“Our thoughts are with the victims who lost their lives, with those who are now fighting to recover from their injuries, and with the families and community members who are affected.
“While this level of violence is cause for concern, our resolve to fight for the safety of every person in our community is unwavering. We will aggressively pursue every lead, but we also need the community’s help. Anyone with information about what happened is encouraged to come forward –anonymously if necessary — so we can hold those responsible accountable and prevent further harm.”

Ok, I was very confused because I was just reading about the other shooting (yesterday) outside of a High School with One Dead and six injured where the shooter got away. That one used a “High Velocity Rifle” according to the police chief…who does not appear to be a hunter!
Who the heck shoot kids?!! These were elementary kids (age 4-14), not high-schoolers!

One reason for their rejection of prayer is that they feel that prayer does nothing, but restricting gun ownership “would solve the problem”. Many praise Venezuela, but miss the recent history where many law abiding Venezuelans gave up their guns in a program that did not disarm the criminals.
