Sorry, I didn’t watch

| January 28, 2010

I got through the first few minutes of President Obama’s State of the Union Address last night and I got the feeling that I was being scolded. Yeah, well, I’m 54 years old and I have great grandchildren, so I really don’t need that. Especially from some clown who talks with his nose in the air.

This morning, however, I watched him scold the Supreme Court for not seeing things the way his young, stupid ass, sees things. I’m pretty sure some of them felt like walking out, too.

The truth is; I’ve watched him almost everyday with that condescending scolding voice for more than a year and I’m sick of it. I’d rather watch South Park. So there’s my summation of his remarks last night.

But you can feel free to comment on the speech – the one-way conversation Obama had with America last night.

Just A Grunt

I spent my time playing World of Warcraft. The STFU speech was in the background, but me and my daughter spent some quality time slaying gnomes and collecting shiny baubles.

The guy ia a total narcissist and I could not bring myself to watch it. I did, however see many of the clips from the speech and the one you mention, about scolding the Supreme Court, was priceless. Don’t forget, he was the editor of Hahvad Law Review, so he knows more than those neophytes on the Supreme Court.

He really is in love with himself. If the left considesr him playing the blame game as not backing down and leadership, we are really in trouble.

You have great grandchildren? or great as in wonderful grandchildren?

Grunt, that sounds way more interesting than the speech!

I had a hockey game last night so I pretended the other team were all Democrats…..man am I sore. We won 5-0 and my only shot on goal hit the goalie square in the cage, his ears are probably still ringing.

Claymore

You know, I think this Obama dude is headed places. Someone should get him involved in politics before he gets snapped up by QVC or something.

Finrod

Watched about 5 minutes and decided I got the gist of it, you now…Bush did it…right wing crazy…I’m really smart…

And Just A Grunt, I’ve moved on to Dragon Age Origins, give it a try. WoW is just getting boring as hell.

A quick breakdown the way I reviewed it was: ‘We all need to quit whinning and work on his agenda. It it fails, it is our fault.’… oh and it is all currently Bush’s fault (and ours).

UpNorth

Didn’t watch it, I also have grandchildren, and I don’t feel any need to be lectured by a skinny, ill-mannered douche. I did see the clip of ass-clown scolding the supreme court, and justice Alito’s reaction. Classic….

‘Listened’ to it while reading. Just couldn’t look at the television. 52″ of Biden, Obama and Pelosi on the screen all at the same time. Too much for me. Pelosi is one scary looking chick in HD.

Frankly Opinionated

Thank you Jonn, for coming through as I knew you would. Your assessment of the ?speech? satisfied my need to know here.
Doing the tough things so we don’t have to. What dedication to your readers!

“Never forget that Radical Islam and political correctness killed 14 souls at Ft. Hood Texas on 11/5/09!”

It seemed to me that his SOU was addressed not at the American people, but at the members of the democratic party. He spent half the time talking about how “we will perservere in the face of adversity” (and im paraphrasing), but he wasnt talking about the american people, he was talking about pushing through his leftists political programs that the american people have roundly rejected. He was basically saying that he will continue to push his unwelcome and tyrannical agenda regardless of what the people want, and that his partys platform will win out in the end.

What a scumbag.

I only caught the last part, was more important to watch the Devils-Sabres game.

Why did Barry think it was a good idea to also go up against American Idol?
