Mr. Daily clearly didn’t understand the ramifications of practicing thuggery on Mud Fork Road.
Rochester police: 17-year-old boy was shot as teens drove toward man at Norton Village
Rochester, N.Y. — Teens in two vehicles drove toward a 46-year-old man, prompting him to open fire and shoot one of them Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
Investigators said the man approached multiple teens occupying a Kia and Hyundai on Norton Village Lane to “inquire about their presence.”
The teens left the area in the vehicles, only to circle back and drive at the man, according to police. The man reportedly pulled a legally registered .45-caliber handgun and fired several rounds before the vehicles fled.
Police received a call shortly after 3:30 p.m. for a 17-year-old boy shot on South Union Street. They determined he had been shot at Norton Village while occupying one of the vehicles that drove toward the 46-year-old man. The teen was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Officers recovered a stolen Kia and a stolen Hyundai near the South Union Street scene and took a 15-year-old boy into custody. He is charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was taken to the Monroe County Children’s Detention Center.
The 46-year-old man has not been charged. The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

It’s just no fun when the victim shoots back.
Thanks to David, Gun Bunny and Old Tanker for today’s links.
My first mission is to take care of our troops. I take that mission very personally.

I dislike speaking of my ailments- might make me seem actually human. Briefly, I was awarded an upper GI Tract arterial leak which ultimately healed itself and am back home. Zero Yelp stars, do not recommend.

Get well n’ stay well Ed. Things ain’t the same without you around.
“Awarded”? I’ll have to look that up in a medical dictionary. Learn something new every day at TAH.
Glad you’re feeling better ‘Ed. It’s no fun having medical problems.
Too bad the Virginia Good Samaritan didn’t pull the trigger one more time and apply the TSS to Mr Dailey. Would have saved the city, county and state a whole lot of money in medical and incarceration bills.
Could even be a Biblical quote, “give us this day our Dailey target”.
Welcome back.
Tsk. The perps keep getting younger and younger.
I hope the 17 y.o. was shot in the right places to prevent him from procreating and passing his Stoopid genes on to a next generation. Cleaning the gene pool one shot at a time.
Nice to see a photo of a Lahti.
It plays a pivotal part in the book “Unintended Consequences” (John Ross).
A 20mm rifle is insane!
’bout time you got your malingering happy azz back to work. These cats ain’t gonna herd themselves. And a day without Gun Pr0n is a day without sunshine. Getting a trifecta of dumbasses AND some heavy duty gun pr0n is a nice Welcome Home presentation, tho I did read the nickname of “Norsupyssy,” to be something other than “Elephant Gun”. Not sure why I was drawn to wanting the version mounted on the tracked Weasel. Talk about shoring up The North Wall….
I heard that Noballz Walz was more concerned about taking care of the needs of the troop’s horses than he was the troops.
So on the way to work yesterday, I see a campaign sign: “Veterans for Harriz-Walz”.
Are you fucking kidding me.

It’s what the (D)emon-rats do when there’s no real support.
About on a par with CumSwalla claiming that she had a letter (or some other means of communications) from Tucker Carlson supporting gun control. HA! As if!
Wasn’t that the gun that Clint Eastwood used to blow open the vault door with his friend that walked with a limp. Forgot the names of that 70’s flick
Forgot the name? It was Thunderbolt and Lightfoot.
Thanks Claw, you saved me the keyboard ink ribbon from running out of ink.
Had to went & looked it up. Possibly the same gun in both mentions? An Oerlikon 20 mm cannon , and an AA cannon.

Definitely not the same as a Lahti
Yeah, in Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Bill McKinney played the crazy guy who unloaded white bunny rabbits from the trunk of a Plymouth Fury, then started to blow them away with a shotgun. Also, Bill McKinney played the guy who says “Make him squeal like a pig” in Deliverance. /s/
Glad to have you back, AW1Ed.
Being mortal stinks sometimes, but it’s all we got this side of the Resurrection of the Righteous.
IMHO the Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy showed great restraint, putting them in the low abdomen like he did. The guy was definitely having a mental event, possibly drug induced possibly an illness.
The 17 year old and his buddies have now been warned of the consequences of bad choices. Whether or not they choose to learn from the lesson remains to be seen.
That Lahti looks like a beast! KoB ought to put one at FB Magnolia.
Welcome Home Ed.
Glad to see your back Ed.
Thanks for the kind thoughts, y’all.
Thank you for not thinking about what kind of thoughts we have. *snickers*
Can’t take Gun Bunny anywhere- send him to school and he hits on the substitute teacher.
I admit nothing…call my lawer!
Should have known you had to face down a gut check.
