Escaped Florida felon who allegedly faked injury screams in agony as K-9 drags him from hiding spot in woods

A Florida inmate who faked a fall injury in an effort to escape was dragged by a law enforcement K-9 kicking and screaming from the thick underbrush where he was hiding, authorities said Sunday.Anthony Romine, 29, was found Saturday in a wooded area by a gas station in Flagler County after being tracked by a Flagler County Sheriff’s K-9 team.
He was hiding underneath some foliage and underbrush, the sheriff’s office said.
His capture came seven hours after his escape. Video footage of the arrest shows a K-9 dragging Rommie, who was screaming in pain.

21-year-old man shot, arrested after altercation near Birmingham parking deck

A 21-year-old man was put in jail after being treated for a gunshot wound in Birmingham.According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to 716 Richard Arrington Blvd at approximately 11:15 p.m. on July 27, 2024 to investigate a shooting.
When they arrived, deputies found that the Birmingham Police Department had secured thee scene. They also found 21-year-old Ty Austin Bell had been shot in the upper torso. Bell was taken to the hospital for treatment before being transferred to the Jefferson County Jail.
Authorities believe the Jefferson County Court House Security Team approached Bell in the parking deck of the 2121 building, then followed him to an alley where an argument lead to a fight before the shooting.

I do shed a tear for the Ruger Blackhawk I let go years ago, but I did get a nice 30-30 in trade. Just regret I could not have had both.
