Ring of Fire

16-year-old robber accidentally shot his accomplice while mugging CTA passenger: police

CHICAGO — A 16-year-old boy unintentionally shot his 17-year-old accomplice as they robbed a man aboard a Green Line train, Chicago police said. Both of the teens have been charged.

The younger boy displayed a firearm as the pair robbed an 18-year-old man on a train near the King Drive station around 10 p.m. Wednesday, according to CPD. During the robbery, the 16-year-old fired his gun and struck the other robber in the leg, according to police and a witness statement.

Both boys fled the scene, but police located them about 45 minutes later when they responded to a person shot call in the 6400 block of South Martin Luther King Drive. Police also recovered a firearm there.

The 16-year-old is charged with discharging a firearm during an armed robbery. His accomplice is charged with armed robbery with a firearm.

Not exactly an auspicious beginning to Chiraq thug-life. It’s the ‘catch-and-release’ criminal justice system proggy DAs are so fond of. Great for virtue-signaling but the down-side? It deprives aspiring young criminals the opportunity of attending the finishing schools where they can learn the trade from the old salts. It’s Trumps fault of course.

Man who held 11-year-old daughter at knifepoint, shot by wife who was stabbed in Houston

HOUSTON, Texas — Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the assault of a woman at 1715 Enclave Parkway about 4:50 a.m. on Monday.

James Edward Tillman, 31, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault of a family member in the 337th State District Court. A booking photo of Tillman is not available for release at this time, as he remains hospitalized.

The victim, 32, was transported to an area hospital where she was treated and released.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective L. Garcia reported that HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting/stabbing incident at an apartment complex at the above address. A preliminary investigation determined the suspect, later identified as Tillman, was holding his 11-year-old daughter at knife point in the kitchen of the apartment, so the child’s mother (victim) retrieved a firearm. Tillman charged at the woman, cut her with the knife and tried to take the firearm from her. During the struggle, the firearm discharged and Tillman was struck in the face area and lower body.

Someone does need to give this yute a leg up on his gunz handling skilz. Sweet home Chitcongo. Was considering submitting for the SPoTW Thread but, DAMNIT…FGS are getting harder and harder to find. Stoopid people…not so much.

What kind of lowlife holds his own daughter at knife point? The kind that should be put down like a mad dog.

Before all the haters start hating on that Sister Golden Hair Surprise Ms Thang’s trigger finger placement, let me be the FIRST (ht2 Tox) to point out the placement of her other pieces and parts in that LBD. She caused me to fall in a Ring of Fire…(ht2 The Man in Black) The POS gun pr0n?…not so much.

I’m sure it was mistaken identity.. Dey wuz gud boyz, on their way to choir practice after turning their lives around, and to suggest otherwise is racist..

Gotta wonder why a heathen was holding an 11 year old girl at knife point, let alone his own daughter.

Gotta suck to have to live in Chicago, NYC, Atlanta, Philadelphia, LA, SanFran, Washington State, Missouri, even Houston.

There could be some common links between those population centers.

In general, lack of a mug shot USUALLY tells you all you need to know about the demographics of the perp.. wonder if it’s true in the case of the shitbag holding his daughter at knifepoint???

I have one of these POS pistols. It is a Raven .25 auto. The owner and boss of my first law firm gave it to me because he bought it for his wife, but won’t fire. I found the firing pin is broken.

Makes a good paperweight, doesn’t it?

Yup, or a deep bottom fishing weight. It is almost identical to the one in the photo. Even has the same faux pearl plastic grips.

I have one somewhere, supposedly. It was one of the only guns my dad didn’t pass down to me 20 years ago, and I thought we tossed it in one of my sister’s totes when we took care of things after he passed. She insists it’s in one of mine but I have yet to go through them. We divided what we thought we wanted and those totes are full of memories, including, I guess, a Raven.

The Lorcin and Hi-Point I bought a few weeks back got tossed in the shed. I haven’t even cut the security tape on them. Ring of Fire, all right. Pot metal guns serve some kind of purpose, but I’d recommend working an extra shift and buying a Ruger LCP for under $200.

Yes, both those makes are junk. Quality guns always appreciate. Junk guns never do. I once purchased a used HiPower at a pawn shop for $135. Unfortunately, I never replaced it after it was stolen in a burglary back in 1982. At that time, I couldn’t afford to fork out about $450 to replace it. Instead, I bought a new S&W Model 10 .38 special for $160.

“Quality guns always appreciate. Junk guns never do.” Tell me about it. I paid between $20-$100 each for the ten or so Mosin-Nagants I’ve owned (well, the M28 Civil Guard rifle was a trade, as was the M39 I got along with it) , and those were considered low end on the surplus market. Plentiful, cheap, and nowhere near as refined as a Mauser or Enfield. But they are battle-proven and still in use today, have some historical value, and simply work.

A 91/30 came in a few months back that had been paid for at another store. My own 91/30 is stripped of all bluing and looks to have a replacement stock, but isn’t in bad condition all told, especially for the $80 I gave for it. The one that came in looked like it had been picked up in Stalingrad and tossed in a crate for 80 years. The kid that bought it paid a full $500 plus tax!

I bought my P32 in Cadiz, KY twenty years ago. It’s still going strong.

Had these two youth had firearms training in school and learned how to handle them properly. He might not have shot his partner. Imagine teaching gun safety in schools. Only in a conservative school would that happen, and that ain’t happening anytime soon.

In my first high school, we had a small bore range in the basement. It was where I first learned to target shoot, military style in JROTC. When I arrived at my university, I was no stranger to the Remington Model 40X target rifle. With the current mindset, ROTC will just be used to further indoctrinate our young with progtardism and its religion of wokistry.
