Teenager Returns Fire During Home Invasion
Authorities are investigating after a report of a home invasion on Lake Morris Road Tuesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Chris Miller says they were called by a teenager who says he woke up to an odd noise in the home and grabbed a gun to search the house and was shot at by someone leading him to returned fire causing the suspect to flee the area.
At this time there is no description of a possible suspect but Miller says there were several shots fired in the exchange.

Burglar shot dead by Mobile apartment resident; accomplice faces charges, police say

A would-burglar was shot dead by a resident at a Mobile apartment complex Tuesday, Mobile police said Wednesday morning.Police responded to Ashford Place Apartments on Grelot Road just before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on a call of a burglary in progress. Arriving at the scene, officers found a 23-year-old male dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Initial investigation indicates the dead suspect and another suspect, 22-year-old Okoye Jabrayll Day of Mobile, were attempting to break into an apartment when the resident fired at least one shot, killing the first suspect, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Day was taken into custody and charged with 1st-degree burglary and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

If/when found, compare. If same from both ends of hallway, someone gots some ‘splainin’ to do. If different, then dude is tellin’ da troof.
