If they actually played Vivaldi while I was on hold I wouldn’t mind so much.

“Not to brag, but I’ve been the same gender since birth.” 😄
I constantly reflect on not only my own life choices and actions, but those of people I care about. Recently, I’ve reflected on resumes and their counterparts in various aspects of American society.
My resume is very much what might be considered standard. Not overly impressive, but three decades of work experience in a variety of fields, a degree, and various credentials, professional affiliations, and memberships. Top all that off with decent references. If I dress well and get a fresh haircut, I’m a decent candidate for many positions at the mid-management level or lower.
My oft-mentioned best friend has quite the impressive “resume” himself, only it’s what most of us would call a rap sheet. Numerous felony convictions for alcohol and drug related crimes, among others. A combined total of over 10 years in various jails and prisons, with nine years hanging over his head for his latest misdeeds. One look at his tattoos and demeanor, and it’s clear he’s not a good fit for society. But, in certain circles, his resume is respectable, and he definitely put in the work to earn such vaunted accolades.
For many now, it seems that gender identity and wokeism are a part of the “resume”. From pronouns on LinkedIn profiles and company bios to the prevalence of “influencers” who dress up like pre-teen Disney characters, having some level of “gender fluidity” seems necessary to succeed in certain circles. My clean-cut White male heterosexual persona may have a decent enough traditional resume, but there is an increasing number of employers who would gladly hire a lesser qualified–but more diverse–person who got their Associates in Genderqueer Flora from LBGTU in two weeks and identifies as Phat/Phart.
Anyway, happy Easter to everyone, I hope you are all enjoying today and take some time for yourselves and family.

This meme rollup is like somebody cracked open KoB’s skull and imagerized it.
Definitely not a complaint, just an observation.
An excellent selection, as usual.
yup!
Why am I not surprised to see Artillery involved?🤣
Welp, Pappy, I’ve been saying for years that I needed some help shoring up that North Wall…
An ancient depiction of other useful idiots of a despotic grubermint…
Also:
ADA!
Happy Easter all.
Another great selection, thanks for all the smiles/laughs.
I need one of these for my pickup.
