What color is the car that crashed into the embassy lobby? Thanks, Gun Bunny and Old Tanker.

I don’t really get the article for that 870… It clearly says the shotgun is a “magazine-fed variant”, but the DM probably denotes “detachable magazine”. Tubular magazines are a tried-and-true feed option for shotguns and some rifles. Hence, magazine.
While I’m admittedly being a bit hateful on the concept, I just don’t see the advantages. Quicker reloads, or the option to swap rounds based on need? Sure. Training can accomplish the same thing. Instead of a slim profiled tube-fed shotgun, you end up with something looking like it’s trying to be Big Boy AK, albeit with only 6 rounds and requiring multiple spare mags as opposed to a pouch containing the shells to reload an integral tube mag. Also, still a pump gun.
I think it came about more because of 3 gun competition because swapping magazines was tons faster and less complicated than slipping rounds into the tube.
“with only 6 rounds”
And no bayonet lug….
We carried pump 870’s in our trucks with a few AD’s added in, like when we had a new driver who was a WO Viet-Nam Chopper pilot let a Double O Buck round go off in the cab and going through the first cab roof and whom ever was driving that truck heard the shot rolling up in the ceiling space when ever a turn was made. Another AD in the shop/garage that penetrated the duct work, and another one in Martins dept. store on Flatbush ave in Brooklyn NY that went into the ceiling in front of the elevator door..
Them feral pavement phuquers shorely did beat feet on the get away faster than they beat feet on the attempted invasion. Heh heh. Follow the trail of organic matter and you may track them down.
The car looked to be blue, but that part was as fuzzy as Mr. Yang’s reasons for doing teh stoopid.
Hey Yassar…the terrorists didn’t get your memo on renouncing terrorism.
Just had to give my Mossy Maverick a hug, you know…for reasons.
