Victim gets would-be carjacker’s gun, holds him for police
by: Melissa Moon
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man who stopped to fill up at a gas station in Southwest Memphis late Sunday night was forced to take on a would-be carjacker with a gun.Police said the suspect, later identified as 18-year-old Derrion Turner, is also accused of taking a woman’s car at gunpoint three days earlier in Frayser.
The victim at the Fill-N-Go on South Third said Turner was wearing a black ski mask when he pointed a gun at him and demanded his 2022 Dodge Charger.
The victim said when Turner moved toward the driver’s seat of his car, he was able to grab him from behind, and they struggled over the weapon.
The gun was fired once, hitting the inside of the Charger. The victim said he was able to take the gun from Turner and hold him on the ground until police arrived.

I don’t think this setback will do much to deter Mr. Turner in his future endeavors. Thanks to our own David for the link.
Sheriff: Armed intruder killed during Slidell home invasion early Tuesday morning
SLIDELL – A home invader was killed after forcing his way into a Slidell home early Tuesday morning.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office said the attack happened around 1 a.m. at a home on Rue De La Paix. The department said a 911 call initially came in around that time, but the caller hung up before law enforcement could get details on the situation.
Authorities called the number back and a woman explained that the intruder entered the house and got into a fight with the homeowner and another person who was staying there.
All three involved in the encounter were hurt, and the unnamed burglar was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
The hospitalized victim is in a stable condition. Well, so is the unnamed burglar.
Anybody can jump a motorcycle. The trouble begins when you try to land it.

Street of peace; welp.
Still non-ironic.
The burglar is at peace…….the peace of the dead.
Nice
Since the post seems to be going “that” way,
Not sure a ladder could even be called concealment
Boooooo!
I had to open my not-yet caffeinated skull to scratch my brain to figure that one out.

Fight back! Bring any and every weapon to bear…including your attacker’s. Gotta love these “poor victim selection skilz” stories.
Maybe some of these moto sickle riding, vest wearing phonies could show their derring do by demonstrating their EK landing skilz?
🎶Can I get a Witness…🎶Can I get a Witness…🎶 Bonus points to those who guess which caliber the Bunny of The Guns wants.
Armamaments, Chapter 19, Verse 11:
“And the Lord looked down upon Brother Browning, and spake unto him, saying: “The number of the caliber shall be .45, and 45 shall be the number. Not .44, unless immediately followed by .45. .46 is right out”. And Brother Browning was filled with glad tidings of great joy, merrily producing his wares which were greatly sought after across the land”.
You know me too well, SFC D. A bonus “Jug of Jameson” for you attention to detail and The Reading of The Scripture.
Amen. Bless you, now go and sin some more.
You misspelled Bushmills again, which I just heard referred to as “Protestant whiskey.”
