Remember when it was found that some popular workout apps could potentially reveal unit locations? Well, it happened again, in a BIG way.

A French naval officer revealed the location of the Charles de Gaulle, the flagship of the Marine Nationale, by publicly posting a run via smartwatch to the popular app last week. The 4.5-mile run around one of the carrier decks stands out as a jagged line in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Charles de Gaulle’s position was more sensitive than usual because it was the lead ship in a carrier strike group steaming across the Mediterranean toward the Middle East.

The newspaper was able to confirm that it was the de Gaulle by cross-referencing the geo-location data with recent satellite imagery, which revealed the carrier’s silhouette.Jalopnik

Unknowingly posting targeting info?  Somehow I think his promotion path just changed arcs. At least I sure hope so.

We’ve mentioned the Soros-bought supported Travis County (Austin, TX) District Attorney Jose Garza multiple times before. Not charging violent criminals, charging folks who had clear cases of self-defense, amongst other things.  In the case of Austin Police Department officer Chance Bretches, who was charged after using department-issued beanbag rounds during St. Fentanyl Floyd riots in 2020.

Bretches is facing charges of aggravated assault by a public servant after being deployed as part of a crowd-control response during the 2020 riot, where officers worked to disperse demonstrators and restore order in downtown Austin. His attorneys argue he relied on department-issued “less-lethal” beanbag rounds that were later called into question, contending the equipment itself was defective and contributed to the injuries at issue.

Seems Garza had unreported meetings (which, as a DA, he is perfectly legal to do) but concealed exculpatory evidence

The alleged “secret meetings” with Austin officials about the city being responsible for the defective beanbag rounds that caused more harm than they were designed for, Bretches’s attorney says, were something the prosecution was “required to give us” because it showed the belief and possibility the city had “criminal culpability” in the case.

“Prosecutors can hold meetings with anybody, there’s nothing illegal about that,” Bretches’ attorney Doug O’Connell told Fox News Digital. “The problem in this case is the district attorney felt he had enough evidence to indict the city as a corporate entity, which would make the city an alternative suspect or an unindicted co-defendant.”

Without telling Bretches’ lawyer that, he had no opportunity to pull the city in as a co-defendant.

The Michael Morton Act, a Texas law enacted after a wrongful conviction case, requires prosecutors to turn over most evidence in their possession to the defense, including information that could be favorable to the accused.

O’Connell says that the law mandates that “exculpatory mitigating evidence” must be given to the defense.

After winning an election following a campaign, backed by liberal megadonor George Soros, that pledged to prosecute police officers, Garza indicted over 20 police officers, including Bretches, for their role in quelling the Black Lives Matter riot. Garza has attempted to prosecute multiple other officers on deadly force-related charges with only one successful conviction that was later overturned.

Two of the most recognized police organizations in the area, Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas (CLEAT) and the Austin Police Retired Officers Association (APROA), reacted to the motion by calling on Garza, who has long been accused of harboring animosity toward police, to resign from his role as the county’s top prosecutor.  Fox News

Yeah, Garza needs to go away.

And in a world gone mad – a father in Iceland has lost custody of his autistic 11-year old son… whose mother says is “transgender” and wants to start on puberty-blockers and hormones.

Alexandre Rocha, a French national who has lived in Iceland for 25 years, lost custody to the child’s mother in December and told Fox News Digital he believes the judge ruled against him because he questioned the long-term impacts of puberty blockers and hormone therapies.

Despite his child being diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder just eight months ago, Rocha said the court and medical professionals “slightly passed over” the diagnosis during the trial.

He noted that children on the autism spectrum often struggle with feeling “right in their skin” or “wanting to be something else,” adding that his child sometimes prefers to be a cat — wearing a tail or cat ears.

Rocha said he was notified in February that the child’s mother formally changed his son’s name to a female name, “meaning his ID will now clearly state he is a girl.”

The father said he believes the court’s ruling was not about his child’s welfare, but rather a coordinated effort to silence dissent.Fox News II

Elon Musk is taking an interest, so maybe some financial help is forthcoming. But for now, it looks like the court is against the father. SMDH…

I wonder if this is the French navy way of backing out of a fight. More “noble” (see: saving face) to blame OPSEC than testicular fortitude.

Only thing I remember about France is that we berthed at La Pallice with the U-Boat pens visible and we got on a bus and wound up in La Rochelle if I remember and went through a door with a red light on top of the door. I say no more. French Liberty port took place right after we finished OP Steel Pike 1 off of Seville Spain in 1964….

The French Navy has a Bleu Faucon?

Whod’a thunk it?

How about “Navy Blue’ 1963, Diane Renay, any of you former Navy Squids hear the song…

DocV

My wife had that played at my retirement.

Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

I wonder how legal this is, and how far it can be carried…..?
If the Gubberment and mother of the autistic child wants to play “God” with the SON against the wishes of the father, then let the father file for divorce of the mother and child, “this is no longer my child, and I will no longer pay any kind of alimony, child or medical support.”

Garza is a dildo with ears. If he ever has a car wreck, the coroner is going to wonder why he has a Danner boot imprint on his throat.

Sad to say, Austin, TX, is a septic tank.
One that hasn’t been pumped in decades.

But so are Houston and Dallas-Ft.Worth.
General Sam Houston would weep.

“…reacted to the motion by calling on Garza, who has long been accused of harboring animosity toward police, to resign from his role as the county’s top prosecutor”

Well there you have it. Done and done. Fist bumps all around!

Hack Stone

The entire Austin Police Department should resign and find employment in a municipality that is not actively trying to jail them. Austin voted this asshole in as their District Attorney, let them live with the consequences like New York City is currently experiencing.

Now that the rumor Morgan Freeman is really Jimi Hendrix isn’t hot any more, I’ve got one that’ll really upset left/libtards:
